Moat Cottage - Luxury Country Cottage, Yorkshire Dales Views, Newby Hall Estate, Sleeps 4-5, Dog Friendly

  • Moat Cottage is a charming 18th century cottage on the beautiful Newby Hall Estate, one of England’s finest Adam Houses. The cottage overlooks the site of a medieval fort and guests can enjoy far reaching views towards Ripon Cathedral and The Yorkshire Dales from its pretty enclosed garden and private dining/bbq terrace within the garden walls. The cottage has been newly renovated to retain its traditional charm, blended with fresh, cosy interiors, offering guests the perfect rural escape.
    We respectfully ask that guests do not; host parties, smoke inside, wear outdoor shoes or take food upstairs, allow dogs upstairs or on the furniture, play music or make audible noise after 10pm, remove any keys from the premises (please make sure all doors are locked and windows closed whenever you leave the cottage and put keys back in the key box either by the front or back door).

    Please look after the property and its contents, please be considerate towards other guests staying in the cottages and please enjoy yourselves!

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please could you put all rubbish in a black bin bag and put in the wheelie bins at the end of the drive.
Please could you make sure all the lights are turned off and the heaters are set as you found them.
Please could you make sure all the windows are closed, the doors both locked and keys left in the key boxes. Thank you very much! We hope you have enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again!
