"Perfect stay at Lake ComoWe stayed at Michele’s villa with 8 people and had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect: the villa was very clean, the infinity pool was beautiful, and the view over Lake Como was stunning. Michele is a very friendly and welcoming host, who even helped us reserve a local restaurant where we enjoyed excellent food at a fair price. The villa is also a great base to explore different towns around the lake as well as Milan. We would definitely recommend this place!"

"Doriano and Giovanna are wonderful hosts. Their attention to detail is so impressive. The garden oasis outdoor area is a perfect spot to relax with a drink or to enjoy their amazing breakfast (Giovanna’s home made sweets and sweet cornbread were standouts). It is such a beautiful old building and happily it retains its historic charm. Great experience here! Would definitely stay again. "

"AMAZING! Beautiful quaint resort off Lake Como. Generously caters to all guests: couples, families, with pets, etc. Gorgeous infinity pool with relaxing deck area next to a lovely grassy open area shaded by rows on f trees. Breakfast is fantastic with excellent cappuccinos and a delicious bar, with quickly made hot options. We met with friends and family for lunch & dinner off property, but looked very good. There is a Laundromat just around the corner if needed, which we took advantage of. Our kids especially liked the beautiful pool and relaxing patio attached to our room. We appreciated the separate bunk beds for our kids to sleep as well. Wonderful resort, hope we are able to return again soon!"

"This property is outstanding. We wanted to stay closer to switzerland (where we were headed after Lake Como) and wanted to be out of the thick of the crowds. This ended up being perfect. The house is composed of an upstairs apartment and a main floor apartment. We rented both. In-laws were upstairs and our family with baby was downstairs. The house is so well built that we heard nothing from either apartment. The house is a very leisurely 30 minute walk from the town of Colico which has a lively lakefront, much more authentic than we found in Bellagio and Tremezzo. It is also a 2 minute walk to the lake where there is a beach, a food kiosk, etc. We took our coffee down there every day. Each day we arranged an activity. The first day we did a two hour boat tour from Colico to Bellagio and back. Perfect way to get oriented to the lake. The second day we did a bike tour. We biked with a guide to an agri-tourism farm for a fabulous lunch. The third day we drove to Villa Carlotta and took the ferry across to Bellagio. We were so glad we stayed in Colico. Davide, the owner, was so easy to work with and he has a fabulous restaurant that is on the same property. We had dinner there one night, really outstanding food, and brunch on Sunday which was delicious. This is the perfect arrangement for people who want a less touristy, more authentic Lake Como experience without the crowds, but still close enough to see waht the fuss is all about!"

"Was in a small town so nice to go to after being in other larger towns. The hostess was very kind giving us homemade jam and bottle of wine when we arrived. The villa was spacious and even had a yard to sit in and enjoy. "
