Rivière Noire District Holidays

We recently stayed here for our honeymoon and overall it was an okay experience. Not bad, but definitely not what we expected. Unfortunately, around 80% of the staff weren’t friendly and rarely greeted or smiled, which made the atmosphere feel a bit cold. A few staff members really stood out for their kindness though. Especially Raven, Suraj, and the bell boy (man). They were genuinely lovely and helpful and we appreciated their warmth. Breakfast was average, with limited variety, but the included dinner was surprisingly lovely and enjoyable each night. We had requested a nice sea view for our honeymoon, but sadly a large tree completely blocked the view from our room, which was quite disappointing given the occasion. Overall, it was a decent stay, but with a little more friendliness and attention to detail, it could have been so much better.

A really great boutique hotel to relax in. The grounds of the hotel are immaculately maintained and the rooms are luxurious and spacious. The staff are so friendly and polite and make your stay easy. You need a car or taxis if you want to venture out. But the hotel is perfect to completely switch off from the outside world. The restaurant setting overlooks the beach and is lovely. Dinners are a little formal but tasty. Thank you so much to all the Sea diamond staff especially Diana, Enzo and the restaurant team, as well as the charming GM. We loved meeting you all and making our stay so special!

Beautiful beach, gardens and accommodation. Super friendly, helpful and professional staff Good food with variety of options. Very quiet and relaxing.

Good hotel, decent food options from half board package

Second time staying that Trou au Biches and it is still a great and beautiful faculty. But the staff could be friendlier. We noticed many times that the staff will take forever to get back to us. And I hated how we were always neglected compared to other tables. When you are a Black family, it makes you wonder if your treatment is because of your color and that is extremely unpleasant to experience such.
