"We had an exceptional, albeit, short weekend at the Silliman House! Weekend before Christmas and the home was decorated to the tee! Kelly, was very attentive to our needs and walked us through the house and all of its features. The weather was perfectly cold and snowy which created the perfect environment in the home with the tree and fireplace. This was a trip we will truly remember…highly recommended!"

"Stunning location, beautiful, especially with the leaves changing color. View from every window is lovely. It's more remote than expected, so try to arrive during daylight hours because it is DARK. Stream is lovely. Kitchen has recent upgrades and is very nice, beds are comfy. I mistakenly thought that the couch was couch bed- it is not. The futon is small, would be good for kids. So, be sure to check with the host before going if you'll have more than 4 people and/or don't intend to share beds. Location is very peaceful - great for a relaxing getaway. I'd love to see it during winter."

"New renovations were a plus! Very comfortable with 9 adults. Definitely recommend. Comfortable primary bed. You can tell the home is lived in and cared for versus just an income property so that was lovely. Beautiful view. Location was good for our needs. "

"Great little place, simple, clean, nothing fancy, owner is nearby, but not intrusive. The view from the back deck was fantastic, we rented kayaks which were dropped off for us before we arrived. Was easy to put in from the private dock down the stairs. Water is so nice we could kayak out into the main lake with little effort and really enjoy the scenery."
