"Sehr uriges Cottage! Durch die drei Stockwerke kann man sich auch mal aus dem Weg gehen. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und die Gastgeber sehr nett. Surfstrände sind gut zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub!"

"Good hotel - comfortable and clean. Nice size room and well equipped. Great shower - plenty of hot water and was like a power shower. The swimming pool was good and enjoyed a swim before checking out. Thanks for a good overnight stay . Would definitely return."

"Lovely hotel. In the centre of Barnstaple and plenty of parking. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We were on a cycling trip on the Tarka Trail ..hotel has very useful indoor rear area with cycle racks to secure your bike during your stay. Fantastic."

"This is our 6th holiday at Courtyard Cottage and it's still as good as the 1st time - lovely location if you want peace & quiet, everything you could think of is provided and although it's next to the owner's house the way it's laid out gives you total privacy. 3 patios around the cottage mean there is always somewhere to sit in the shade or sun depending on your preference. Owners are very discreet and you only usually see them if you go to their front door. The cottage is situated just out of Barnstaple (less than 10 minutes in the car) and is within easy reach of both the North coast towns and the West coast as well. Plenty to see and do in the area which is why we keep coming back (plus we love the cottage itself)."

"My daughter and I just stayed one night as we were in Barnstaple to see a show. The staff were very friendly and helpful, noteably providing us with a fan for our room as we were amidst a heatwave.! The breakfast was delicious too - thank you for a lovely mini-break :-) Helen and Claire"
