"I liked Benjamin who checked my husband and I in! I liked our clean, inviting room! It was very comfortably set up, so we had a place to open all of our bags—checked in, as well as carry ons! The other staff we want to mention by name are Laura at the Snack Bar—she makes one good bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant sandwich! The green tea was great also! Maria, from South America, is a hostess/waitress at the restaurant close to the registration desk! She waited on us both nights we were at the hotel and her service always came with a smile! When I told her tonight that we were leaving early in the morning, she accepted my hug and enthusiastically responded by giving me a hug back! Our stay has been wonderful, but it’s time to go home to California tomorrow!"

"This hotel is a fantastic, cost-effective alternative to staying in New York City. The rooms are incredibly spacious and immaculate, and the properties' amenities—including a fresh breakfast and free parking—are excellent. It is ideally located near the Lincoln Tunnel, with a bus station just steps from the front door, making commuting into NYC incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!"

"Here is what Hudson Yards Hotel needs. A real makeover of the lobby. Floor is dated. Front desk needs a bit more enthusiasm and interest in the guests. Not sort of . The carpet on the floor on 2 nd floor is dirty, stained and old and needs a replacement. The room was comfortable,but the HVAC system is very loud and needs to be replaced .There was no wi fi for 3 days...They should have had someone in there right away to fix it. I asked for the resort fees to be waived. Not sure what they are for anyway. I will not return. unless the owner really understands and cares. At this point, they don't This is a very well located property. Make it better and more desirable."

"The hotel is newly renovated and opened a month ahead of time. Except for two nights without TV (because the carpet installers cut the cable lines) our stay turned out great. The staff were courteous and efficient—and seemed genuinely pleased to see you (Al of to customer training). The hotel is across the street from the subway and a block from crosstown buses. And of course around the block from the theater district. I used to stay at the Penn across the street from The Garden whenever I came to NYC. Now it will be The Row"

"The property has a great location in central Manhattan. The physical premises appear to be under construction. There is not lobby to speak of, and the organization of elevators is complex and confusing. Our room was clean, but the facilities showed a lot of wear. Price does include a free breakfast, although it is extremely basic. Our objection had to do with the check-inn process. We arrived at 3:50 for a scheduled 4:00 PM check-in and were told we had to wait. We returned 45 minutes later and were informed there was no room available which matched the room we had reserved via Expedia. We ended up in a tiny room with (literally) barely space to turn around, and instead of a City view we had a back wall view."
