We enjoy the Lirico because it is close enough to walk to Mary Maggiore, Trevi Fountain, Opera House,Spanish Steps and the Roma Termini train station. Enjoyed the breakfast and the staff.

This was our third stay at Hotel Lirico. For a busy Rome holiday this hotel is perfect for location and facilities. The staff are amazing, they are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Daily housekeeping is such a treat when you've had a busy day out and get back to your room with fresh towels and a very well made bed (we did make our own bed but they still re-made it like it had never been slept in, perfect). I thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel. Thank you so much to all of you at Lirico...until the next time...

We were surprised that the hotel lobby was up a long stairway from street level, with no elevator. The hotel elevator is from 1st to 2nd or 3rd floor only, not down to street (0 floor) level.

Hotel Lirico is centrally located to many attractions and is within walking distance to the Termini. The staff was helpful and the room was clean and quiet. There are quite a number of stairs ascending to the lobby. This could be a problem for someone with disabilities.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lirico and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great hotel would definitely use this hotel again.
Hotel was much nicer than the one we stayed at previously, the decor and condition of the hotel in general was fantastic value for money. Nice modern bathroom, spacious hotel room for what we paid. The pillows could do with being comfier but other than that perfect for us. We had a small issue with our childs cot but that was rectified immediately. Upon checkout we were paying our charges for city tax, cot rental and breakfast however the hotel was lovely enough to give us all breakfast for free as we had a small child with us and in their words 'he needs to eat he is only a baby' which we thought was absolutely lovely. Wardrobe space was also very good compared to most hotels we stay in. The only other negative we had was our fridge was very small, way to small to fit a 1.5l bottle of water in let alone much else.

Stayed for one night between our arrival in Rome and our cruise the next day. Hotel was well located near train station. Easy walk to most major sites. Room was basic but comfortable and clean. Bed was a bit firm for our liking - but even with that we'd stay there again.

I am disabled. The property did not indicate the mountain of steep stairs to get to the reception, so I had issues. These stairs were NOT mentioned in the description of the property. The super tiny lift was another 2 small flights of stairs. There was no where to relax, no lounge or anywhere inside or outside to just sit. Don't rely on them to get you a taxi in time. We waited 45 minutes for our taxi which was "2 minutes away." The room was clean and the reception staff were very nice. I did have a bit of an issue when one of the housekeeping staff was annoyed because I was still in the room and she wanted to clean it. She very reluctantly gave me 5 minutes to leave.

Dear guest,First of all, thank you for the positive notes about the cleanliness of the rooms and the courtesy of the reception staff.With reference to the stairs, our hotel is located in a historic building in the historic centre, and the reception located on the 1st floor is well indicated and also accompanied by photos, precisely to avoid misunderstandings with guests who cannot walk.The taxi service is automatic, and usually arrives in three or four minutes, but if there is a strike or high demand, it is not our fault that the taxi does not arrive in the usual time.The maids do the cleaning in the morning before 2.00 pm and, when there is the last room to clean, as in your case, they kindly ask to be able to clean.Sincerely.
John checked us in and he was very friendly/helpful w information. There was another person at the check in counter at different time but he wasn't as warm as John. Fantastic location, nice and clean property, plenty of restaurants and mini-marts nearby. Easy walking distance to Termini station (we used Termini station to get to airport and cruise port), metro stations and many popular tourist sites. I highly recommend the breakfast here, for 6 euro, it's a great way to start your day before doing your site seeing. Wi-Fi is fast too.

Hotel Lirico is great! We have stayed here before and will do so again. Everyone is friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble. We can't name anyone in particular because they are all brilliant. The hotel itself is within 5 minutes of the metro which takes you to all the sights. The hotel will sort out taxis and airport transfers for you. The rooms are spotless and very well serviced everyday. The beds are really comfortable, so set your alarms so you don't sleep in!

Excellent location within walking distance to many attractions and the main train and bus station. Good restaurants and cafes at your doorstep. Friendly and helpful staff. There are stairs so that is something to consider if you have mobility issues. For the price and location, it is a solid 3 star hotel.

Nice hotel with affordable prices, with nice location, good for short stay, they clean the room while you outside and replace the shampoos, the bed and pillows are good but not so comfortable, i wish if the shower water was hotter, sometimes it was noisy i think from the AC or pipes. But good overall comparing to the price

The people at the front desk were very knowledgable, gave us a map, and outlined the must-sees in Rome. They even recommended their favorite restaurants and mailed our postcards on our behalf!
The hotel room itself looked a bit old, with older wallpaper, but it's Rome! The place was clean, and the staff friendly. You can easily walk to the Colosseum and other ruins. No complaints!

It is a good hotel if you don't want to spend much, or you are like me, the hotel is only for sleeping. There are no extra amenities. There is a lot of walking to do in Rome, so having a clean bed and room was all I needed.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff is extremely helpful. Breakfast is nice, place is clean and tidy. We have a fantastic stay there.
The only little thing is their lift that can carry only one person at the time. If you want to use the stairs, someone has to go up by the lift and open the door to stairs as this is a one way fire escape staircase. Slightly annoying if you traveling in a bigger group.

Terrible experience at checkout and at checkout, lack of courtesy is the norm of the hotel, bad odor at the room, very small room, and above all big stairs to reach reception desk. I selected this hotel using the criteria os number os stars that in the web is 3 stars, but in reality it can be classified as 1/2 star hotel! I will not return to this hotel never more.

Half the staff is very personable the rest aren’t. This hotel is perfect for those staying 2 to 3 days if you’re staying any longer than three days I wouldn’t recommend. the beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable, having to walk up and down those steps for two weeks was very annoying those are my only two complaints about this hotel

First of all thank you for choosing our hotel for your holidays. Our beds are equipped with the latest generation orthopedic mattresses; many like them, but it is evident that they do not satisfy everyone.
Our hotel is in the historic center of Rome and, like many historic buildings, the entrance is located on the 1st floor, as is our reception. We are all ready to take care of our guests' luggage both on arrival and departure; Allow me to underline that, in a city like Rome where you go up and down steps all day, I don't think that an extra flight of stairs, of 20 steps, can make so much difference.

Breakfast was good with a variety of pastries, meat and cheeses. Room is cleaned daily. Location, location, location!!! Some of the things I was not to satisfied about are: some parts of the room like the lamps need to be dusted well, the noise from outside very early in the morning until late hours, and the drunk man that is at the entrance of the hotel almost every night. I know the latter two are beyond the hotel’s control. That’s why overall, I gave it 4 stars.
