Experience the perfect place for you and your loved ones to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life in this 4 bed/2 bath ranch, kayak (two provided) on the beautiful Waldon Lake! Bring your own boat to enjoy our lake! Unwind in tranquility as you soak in the peaceful setting. Yet conveniently located near Rome City at only 6 minutes from downtown, this retreat offers the perfect blend of relaxation and accessibility.

Available via phone, text, or email - I will be available however is most convenient for you. If someone is needed on-premise, I have a manager within 30 minutes of the property.

If you want to get out and explore, it's 10 minutes away from the Rome City! 20 Minutes from Kendallville! 30 Minutes from the famous Shipshewana, Indiana. Blue Gate restaurant and the Shipshewana Flea Market; Shipshewana has shops, restaurants, the well-known Blue Gate Theatre. 45 minutes from Nappanee that has additional Amish culture with shopping, theatre, and dining. All this and more as you relax and enjoy this wonderful area full of culture and hospitality. This property is designed to offer a relaxing stay, regardless of whether you are on vacation, traveling for business, or attending an event at the Michiana Event Center or any other event center in town.

Notre Dame University is only 1.25 hrs away from our house as well. So if you're in town for a game, it's really pretty convenient to get to Notre Dame and avoid the traffic rush.

In the middle of lake country, but yet near all the local attractions with access to the main road. Rome City, Kendallville, Wolcottville, Topeka, Shipshewana, Nappanee.

Self-Check-in - You will gain access to the property via a code entered on a keypad which will be provided the day before check-in.

Check-in time is anytime after 4:00pm

Check-out time is before 10:00am

Enjoy a slower pace, aka "Lake Life" at our Waldron Lake Retreat, our house is directly on the lake (FYI - no wake lake except between 10am - 5pm). Not only will you have our renovated home with great amenities, but also you'll be able to jump into our lake off our private pier or with our provided kayaks (please use the provided adult life jackets). Waldron Lake is also great fishing (bring your own fishing supplies). It's also connected to three other lakes (no wake lakes), but enjoy cruising on different lakes without getting out of your kayak or boat (bring your own boat and dock it to our pier). There are miles of river and lakes that you can explore by entering right off our dock. Enjoy peaceful days fishing, kayaking, boating, swimming, etc.

~~~As a quick disclaimer and note to potential guests, we are a FAMILY ORIENTED neighborhood. We are NOT a party house and have a strict 10pm - 7am noise rule. After 10pm our neighbors should not hear you. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO PARTY and come and go all hours of the night, we are not a good fit for you. Rowdiness, excessive noise, loud music, etc. are all grounds for removal. Our neighbors are all families who have children. Please be considerate of them and respectful of this rule or you will be made to leave the property immediately.~~~

The home is exclusively yours, without interruption for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. Someone may come and mow the lawn or plow the driveway, but they will not bother you.

All TVs: access 70+ popular local and cable channels through YouTube TV. Additionally, these Roku TV’s allow you to access your own streaming services (such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, etc.) as well as many built in channels.

This property is protected by a video security system (outdoors only).

To be respectful of the neighbors, please be mindful of noise levels between 10pm. to 7am. Any complaints from neighbors will incur a $50 fee enforceable by renting the property.
