  • The large terrace and the location are the highlights!
    The house is just a short walk from the beach and the pedestrian zone, which is full of bars and restaurants, and a few minutes’ walk from the train that connects Ostia to city centre Rome in just 25 minutes.
    The apartment is meticulously designed down to the last detail, from the comfortable living room with an open kitchen fully equipped with everything you need to prepare excellent meals, to the spacious master bedroom, to the children’s room with bunk beds, a desk, and closets. One bathroom has a shower and the other a bathtub to meet every need. The large terrace allows you to spend most of your time outdoors during the warmer months—letting the children play, dining al fresco in the sea breeze, or relaxing on a comfortable lounge chair.
    Ostia Lido, often referred to as “Rome’s beach,” offers numerous beach clubs, bars, and restaurants for enjoying your summer holiday. It’s the perfect place to visit the capital without staying in the hustle and bustle of a big city like Rome. The stop for the little train that connects Ostia to the centre of Rome in 25 minutes is just a short walk from the apartment.
    Fiumicino Airport is 10 km away.
    The Ostia Antica archaeological park is well worth a visit.

Great stay at the beach!

Short walks to everything we needed and the metro station for the things we couldn't walk to! We enjoyed the open porch for relaxing outdoors in the shade after a long day on the beach and/or walking the ruins or nearby nature reserve. We loved the 3 gelaterias on the way to the beach, plus a couple of great restaurants to choose from, not to mention the bar with fresh bakery goods at the street level below the apartment, which made for some excellent breakfasts. We also walked the block to the indoor market and were able to easily get fresh meats, cheeses and vegetables to enjoy. We had no trouble accessing the airport or the Rome Ostiense train station and had lots of help from the host to hit the ground running with restaurants and rentals. Those not used to the bustle of a busy city center intersection might be disappointed by the city noises, which sometimes does not seem to stop. Those who don't mind will find it worth bearing for the fantastic location. We visited at the beginning of June and found parking directly beneath the house to be impossible for both nights we had a car rental, but nearby streets and lots were not an inconvenience. We put the laundry and kitchen facilities to work, no complaints. We'd be happy stay again!

We had a great staying in this beautiful and comfortable apartment. The location is great, plenty of restaurants and bakery stores near by. Grocery stores are a few minutes walking distant. The beach is also a few minutes of waling distant. The apartment is decorated very beautifully and very comfortable to stay, the kitchen is well equipped for cooking, the wrap around balcony is very big and with outdoor furniture. The host was super nice, they arranged the transportation for us for our arrival and departure. We definitely recommend this place!
