The location is wonderfull. All important places are at most 30 min walking distance. The photos are a bit miss leading. There are not two bedrooms. There is a room with a small kitchen and a bedroom. One of the beds is a normal double bed with a comfortable matress, the other two are simple extendable beds, not so comfortable. The heater makes too much noise during the night which is in the same as one of the beds. Kitchen equipment is allright. The owner was very helpfull.

Great location
Great location for a Rome visit. Nice neighborhood with good restaurants near by. Kitchen is sparsely arranged so one would not cook there. Bed was comfortable and owner made sure we knew how to turn on the hot water and heat. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Spot: Middle of Rome - 15 min walk to Vatican/Sites. Great Owner, clean place, good beds.
Amazing property right in the middle of Rome. The owner was very communicative and helpful. When we needed to check in early she provided a locked are for ou luggage. Top Location: 1. 2 min walk to Groceries 2. 2 min walk to buses 3. 12 min bus to Rome Termani 4. 20 min walk to Vatican 5. Next to Italian Restaurants 6. Nice side street entrance Great Accommodations: Washer Fridge Stove 3 Beds A/C in bedroom Big bathroom Lots of plugs Great Communication from Owner: Quick responses when I had questions and was easily able to get into the apartment. I was also happy that it was on the ground floor and easy to access from the street. Thank you for the wonderful stay and I would suggest this property to anyone visiting Rome.

Superb Location!
There is just one bedroom but our kids slept comfortably in the pullout futon in the livingroom and our host had made up both beds for us prior to our arrival (thank you!). Finding this spot was a little confusing at first, but we figured it out thanks to photos of the front door and other details provided by the host who was great. There are very few windows, so it is a bit mildewy and could benefit from a good de-humidifier (don't try to do laundry it will never dry). However, the apartment has a lot of charm and while the kitchen is small (more like a kitchenette), the place was certainly comfortable and spacious enough for our family of four. The absolute best thing about this place is its location - it's ideal! Right in the heart of the old city and walking distance to everything. Located on a tiny street with lots of historic charm and 2 minutes walk from all the restaurants and downtown bustle, yet just far enough away so that it's peaceful and quiet. Like other reviews said, the vespas are the only noise (heard mostly from the livingroom where our kids slept). We highly recommend this spot - it's perfect if your plan is to explore the beautiful old city of Rome. Thanks for a great stay!

The location is perfect with lots of nearby food and shopping. The apartment is very clean. The apartment is not very comfortable however. Beds uncomfortable with no seating but kitchen table which is also uncomfortable. The noise from neighbors and outside is loud as if windows open when closed.

Excellent location and adorable property!
The property was clean and location couldn’t have been more perfect! In the heart of everything, but one block down so you weren’t bothered by the noise and foot traffic. My only suggestion to owner would be to replace the mattresses on both futon beds. The couch in the living room that makes into a bed, you can feel the bars but is do-able. The bedroom has a queen bed and then another futon, the mattress on the futon in the bedroom is unsleepable. There are two bars that run from one side to the other with zero padding from the mattress. This is not even usable. We couldn’t sleep on this bed. Other than that… this property was absolutely perfect! It was adorable and met all of our needs for our vacation of 4 adults. Even with the mattress issue I would book this property again and would recommend.. just plan on only two beds being available not three like advertised.

Perfect Location
Property owner was very responsive, which we really appreciated, and space was cute and worked well for family of 5. You could not ask for a better location. Quiet street, but close to lovely cafes, shops, restaraunts, and Piazza Navona. The only time we used public transportation was from airport and train station - we could walk to everything else we wanted to see. Perfect!

The day before our arrival I received an email from the property manager telling me the hot water heater was not working in the apartment I had booked, and could not stay there but I could stay in one of the three other apartments in the building. I replied that I had no other choice since we were arriving the next day. I asked about any compensation for this inconvenience, but got no response from the property manager about compensation. I had booked this apartment because it was on the ground floor and had no stairs. My husband has knee issues and I'm in my 60's and avoid stairs. When we arrived the apartment was four flights up. On top of that it was not as nice as the apartment I had originally booked. I was very upset about the situation, and felt deceived. I spoke with the property manager and voiced my disappointment. He told me he had lived in the apartment, and that I should be satisfied with it. After a heated conversation he agreed to not charge me the city tax. Imagine my surprise when the next day we walked past the apartment I had originally booked to find someone staying there. After a pleasant conversation with them I discovered that they had been staying there and wouldn't be leaving until the next day. They said nothing about the hot water heater not working. It was obvious that the property owner had double booked the apartment. If the water heater was not working why were people staying there? I will find other accommodations next time I travel to Rome. I understand things can happen but on this occasion I was clearly deceived. Traveling and planning a trip abroad can be stressful, and I did everything I could to alleviate this stress by booking accommodations in advance. . This added stress to what was a pleasurable experience. I would not book here again due to the deception, the four flights of stairs, and the worry that I could not trust this property manager.

Nice apartment for 1-2nights stay. All bare essentials present. Brick ceilings, ironwork and hand-painted doors give it a rustic medieval feel. Apartment is on the first floor with easy street access - very important for families with strollers. Spacious bedroom, limited kitchenette space - but okay for a quick breakfast or childrens meal. Parking garage is within walking distance. Quiet street. Internet was on and off.

This property was located a short walk to the Trevi Fountain and kind of in between the Coliseum and the Vatican (a little over a mile to each site). It is very close to the 64 bus, so look that route up when planning to visit sights and the bus line also goes directly to the train terminal. The Wi-Fi was spotty. It turned off twice while we were there (a few minutes after checking in and they fixed it after I texted the next day and it also turned off our last morning). It also does not work well in the bedroom, so if Wi-Fi is really important to you, that is something to consider. The apartment is cute and the owners are very friendly. There is a washing machine, but simple instructions for it would have been nice, since it was a European model and I didn’t know how to work it. The apartment has a small fridge, microwave and stove top, so if you want to cook (we didn’t), this would be a good place. We walked everywhere, but you might want to do the bus and save time and energy. With extra person charges and late check in charges, it was not even close to as cheap as the Expedia search said, so just pay attention to those charges when considering the total cost and value, which I still feel it was a decent price considering. There are also taxes per person per night, that I believe Italy charges everywhere. It was 17 Euros per night for a party of 5, just to give you an idea. The online picture of the bedroom is exactly what it looks like, so no surprises there. A good stay.

Great location, walkable to all the sights
The apartment is on a little side street in a quiet part of town. The occasional motorbike zooms by, but for the most part it's calm. The walls aren't all that thick so some noise does travel in, but we were so tired from all our sight-seeing that it didn't bother us. Spacious bedroom and bathroom for being in the historic district. It's central location is perfect for exploring all the Roman sights and Vatican City. If you're flying in to Fiumicino Airport, you can take the SITbus to the Vatican stop for only €6 and it's a short (and scenic!) walk to the apartment. We had everything we needed and couldn't have asked for a better spot to be our home base for exploring Rome!

When In Rome....
Excellent location. Very clean, spacious and quiet. Owner helped arrange driver to pick us up at the airport and later take us to the train. Charming neighborhood with the most excellent restaurant- Ristochicco- right around the corner. We loved staying here...and we are the third members of our family to use this accommodation. Perfect location for our family
It was a charming apartment. We arrived early in the day and arranged to meet to drop off our luggage and we were able to get our keys then. We thought from the description there was going to be 2 bedrooms, but actually the 2nd bedroom was out in the living room. We shared a room with one of our kids, which was fine, just not what we were expecting. There were 3 king size beds, very firm. It was a great place for our family to stay. We loved playing cards at the table at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The walk in closet gave the kids some privacy while changing, as there really wasn't any other private places if someone was in the bathroom. Only has a small washer, no dryer, I missed that in the description. They provide a nice drying rack, though. We were able to wash our clothes each day and let them dry the next. We were not able to change the controls on the machine, however, which was a little frustrating. The location is great, we walked to most of the ancient Rome sites, even though we had a Roma card and could have easily hopped many of the bus lines. The door is right on the alley/street, so sometimes the cars zooming by startled us. We were always very cautious leaving for fear of being hit (we are from Chicago, and thought we have crazy drivers, nothing compared to Roman drivers!) My only complaint was that the bathroom was pretty dirty, we have to pay an up front 40 euro fee upon arrival. The dust on top of the mirror and the mold in the shower and other parts of the bathroom were disturbing to me (and did not help my allergies). I would have cleaned it, but couldn't find any cleaner and didn't want to purchase any.

Fantastic hidden gem
What a lovely spot to base ourselves for a family trip to Rome! Hidden in a little cobbled street just a few minutes walk from Piazza Navona. SImple. beautifully clean and with 3 double beds. Two in one room and 1 in the other. Basic little kitchenette should you want to self-cater but when everything is on your doorstep there is really no need. Owner very kindly allowed us a late checkout too for no extra charge meaning we could make the most of our last day and leave our luggage inside. Not plush but very simple, characterful and spotlessley clean. Good shower. Can't praise this place enough and very reasonably priced for such a great location. Thank you Elena. Will recommend to any friends and family visiting Rome and hope to stay with you again.

Charming apartment
Place was clean. We used it to just sleep and did not use the kitchen. Located in between Vatican and downtown by Fontana di Trevi. The only disadvantage was you could hear stairwell and outside noises, but it didn’t bother us because we were too tired from our days of walking.

A little dirty and musty
I liked the location of this apartment, but I didn't like the experience much. When we arrived, we had to pay a fee in cash for a cleaning fee when we were already paying more than the average charge of this place which was our fault for booking late. I get that there is usually a cleaning fee that is usually factored into the price, but I got charged extra. The owner did send a message saying that we owed something then charged us seven more. The problem I have with that cleaning fee is that the place wasn't clean. Our feet would turn black after walking around, the place smelled weird and the sheets/towels/pillow cases smelled like vinegar. It's a very unique setup which was cool but the dampness and smells ruined it for me. The place was difficult to find initially and the cleaning boy couldn't give us much information due to a language barrier (Spanish) so he had to come get us. I will say that the bathroom was great and quite a bit of space and we did sleep well there.

This is that kind of review i really don't understand because all the payments due are clearly stated on the ad, maybe after a deeper reading of the description anyone could know what to expect. About linen and towels we use a laundry service that gives us fresh items at any arrival and the description you gave about sounds very strange. I would like to test in any other apartment how will be the feet after a walk around.

Wonderful Location and Apartment
Luigi was quick to respond from the moment I emailed him. He answered all of my questions, and booking was easy. If you happen to arrive by train, then hop on the 64 bus outside of termini. It will leave you two blocks from the apartment if you get off at the Ponte Vittorio Emanuele stop. A man named Edgar waited for us and told us about nearby supermarkets, which was very helpful because we have three small kids. I highly recommend Pam, which is about five minutes away and has everything you'll need. (Turn left outside the apartment then walk to Vittorio Emanuele. Turn left again and walk about three minutes). We rented the ground floor apartment and loved it. There were three double beds, which were comfy. The bathroom was spacious and has a washing machine. The A/C was nice for those hot August nights. The location is perfect: smack in the middle of all the major sites. We walked everywhere even with small kids. The Vatican was about 10 minutes away, Piazza Navona about five minutes, and Piazza Venezia was about 20 minutes. We also walked to the Spanish Steps, Colesseum, Fountain Trevi, and the Pantheon. We loved our stay in Rome! Thank you Luigi and Edgar!

What a great location to everything! I would recommend upgrading the pots and pans for anyone who wants to use the kitchen. A warning to all visitors that a coffee pot (other than an expresso machine) is not available would have been nice. There are three comfortable beds; for plenty of sleeping time; however, no couch to actually rest those very tired feet. There is also room for improvement for the freezer, it does need to be defrosted. But, as I said... great location.

I stayed here with my wife and kids. Space was good. Kitchen was adequate with all amenities. Place was cool in the heat of july. Host was gracious very accommodating and helpful. I checked in late but he was very gracious about it and helped me a lot. Location of this place is awesome. Walk able to piazza Navona, Spanish steps, pantheon, Vatican, Trevi fountain, Angels Bridge. Taxi stand near by if you need it, lively neighborhood with great dinning options. Grocery stores very close. I would definitely rent it again in future when I go back to Rome-- threw a coin in Trevi Fountain.

The apartment was in a perfect location and was within walking distance to all the main sights. The host was a great communicator and answered all our questions within minutes. The apartment could have done with an iron and better bed sheets. Other than that I have nothing to complain about, everything else was well equipped. It was a great size and exactly as described. Perfect location
The apartment is perfectly located in a beautiful neighbourhood near the Piazza Navona, very close to the Ponte S. Angelo (for crossing to the Vatican). It has lovely architecture which keeps it cool even in the peak of summer without the a/c - although there is a/c if you like it colder. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a washing machine. It was an excellent place to stay for a family of 4. We would highly recommend it.

Terrific Stay
The description was accurate although it was a bit further than we anticipated for the parking. But we managed to find on street parking at Lungotevere Tor di Nova for $1/hr between 8-11pm. It worked out just fine. The property is walking distance to really anything you want to see near Piazza Navona. Accommodations were clean, well kept and comfortable. The owner was out of town, but had an associate meet us at the proper arrival time. We were very happy to be in this wonderful little place for the two evenings and three days we were in Rome.

L'appartamento era nel complesso abbastanza pulito. Le prese di corrente erano un po' datate senza adattatori, ma funzionanti. La comunicazione con il proprietario non è stata efficientissima, inoltre abbiamo dovuto depositare i bagagli al momento del check-out in una zona adiacente l'appartamento non custodita e senza copertura! Leggermente umida, ma posizione strategica per muoversi e visitare la città a piedi!
