Disappointing stay
"Find somewhere else to stay", and "there are plenty of other places". This is what I was told by the staff/personnel of the property.

also tell us about everything you said and did.You clogged up my toilet and I had to call a plumber.you made requests after requests and you were satisfied.at that point seeing you still unsatisfied, I simply said that if you weren't happy you can go to other hotels, since Rome is full of hotels

I had a Good stay
I had a good experience with this accommodation. Check in with was easy and clear. Breakfast and wine were free, and parking. Location is awesome very short distance from Vatican. My door room was awkward because I had to lock myself using the key. The shower design was a bit stranger, water spills outside the curtain and make the floor around the toilet wet, so if you don’t have shoes or slippers on, your feet will be wet too when using the toilet. Despite that this place is good. I started telling my friends/co-workers to stay here.

The first disappointing thing was that the room was not ready at check-in time, and we had to wait for 1.5 hours, without even receiving an apology! Second, the reception's behavior was the opposite of professional, and in fact so vulgar that was beyond my imagination. In addition, there was hardly anyone available at the reception. Third, they advertise to be bed and breakfast, but it is a false advertisement, as they don't really offer breakfast. What they offer is one drink (a cup of coffee or something) plus one snack (something that is less 50 cents if you buy from a supermarket) from a vending machine. Fourth, it is seriously NOT CLEAN. The breakfast area was all dirty with crumbs of food on the tables and flys all over the place. We saw that they had piled the towels on the floor (yes, the floor of the corridors) and leave them for one day before washing them! It was so terrible that when we got back home we directly went to shower and put every piece of clothing into the washing machine to avoid taking the dirt into our home. Fifth, the bathroom was terrible. There was no shower box so when you would take shower water would run all over the bathroom and it would make a mess if one would walk there with shoes to use the toilet afterward. Obviously, there were no slippers around. In addition, although there was a bidet in the bathroom, the facet did not work properly so hardly any water came out of it. sixth, there were no shampoos, no handwashing liquid or anything.

We apologize for the inconvenience you expressed in this review, but in that week we had some defections as our two receptionists were absent at work. As far as breakfast is concerned (we are not a bed and breakfast and it is also written on our website) the modality is widely described on our internet page.

I was physically assaulted by the male hotel receptionist after he and his shady staff ( no uniform, all dressed in tank-tops and cargo shorts) stole expensive clothing from my luggage. The polizia and first responders were swift and not surprised, so I was able to file a report and my items were returned to me, but nothing was done for the act of violence. Apparently, the place has a reputation as a brothel and all the polizia did was highly recommended I stay somewhere else, which was not covered by Travelocity. On top of that, the place was small, terribly dirty, and had two pathetic vending machines for "breakfast". Women, solo travelers, and those with luxurious items alone should avoid this trap at all costs.

What you are saying is absurd. You accused us of stealing from your purse, which is very serious since we welcome about 20 people a day, and such a thing never happened. As soon as the police arrived, they could see how crazy you were and that you had your clothes in your bag and they hadn't been stolen. Finally, you also called an ambulance for an alleged assault that never happened. (in fact the nurses laughed at you) You also dare to write a review. People like you should be ashamed to leave the house. Good life

Everything was great. Location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness of room, bathroom and lobby. However they did not provide soap or shampoo in the bathroom. I rathe this hotel 9 out of 10. Very good value for the money, and very good location 12 minutes downhill walk going to the Vatican.

The property is located close to Vatican city also the room was very spacious and good bathroom. The closet were dusty also I had requested for double bed as there were twin bed joint together with a gap. As we checked In there was no one to assist us as the reception was closed the property provide 2 codes 1 for the main gate and 2nd for the entrance door. We had breakfast included which turn up to be machine breakfast as it works with the owners special key otherwise you will need to put 1 euro for any item(if there is no one at reception you don't get that also and when you address it they don't even apologies for it and says no problem you can have now. There is no kettle to have warm water in the room. The place is nice quit. I will visit Italy again but not sure will use this property in future..

Location was excellent, staff were friendly, other guests were quiet. One outlet fried two chargers, but in an older building it happens and it very well could have been the chargers themselves.

We loved this property as it was clean and a mere few minutes walk to the Vatican. Our host accommodated us very well. We did not have a UK charger for our phone and he loaned us one of his. What I did not like is that breakfast was included BUT breakfast was just from a vending machine. For breakfast you're allowed a snack and a small coffee. Do not include breakfast in your stay -- try to buy breakfast outside Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I don't know where to begin, first and for most room we stay was nothing like on pictures. That i can live with but rude receptionists is another thing, talking at me with no manners whatsoever. Simple smile could do tge trick but it was too much effort for him . Property advertised as a B& B with no breakfast bit ,vending machine with little choices plus coffee in plastic thimble!!! Seriously lost for words. Avoid this place at all cost ,look elsewhere, surely other places appreciate guests more !!!

This place has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, I cannot give it a good review. First of all, the room had ants. I bought an ant trap and most of them disappeared within a few days but the room still had ants. Secondly, the walls are VERY thin. You can hear every conversation in the rooms around you. There's no curfew so a bunch of people were outside my window drinking/screaming at 3:00 in the morning! Lastly, it says breakfast and reception start at 7:30 am. On the day I needed to check out, I brought my bags down waiting to leave them with reception for the day. Nobody was there. I pushed the service button, called them on the phone. Nothing. People came down for breakfast and nobody was there to give breakfast. At 8:00 am, there was still nobody there. I had to take my bags with me which was very cumbersome. How irresponsible can you be??? Definitely do not recommend this place!

we are sorry for your problems. For ants, first of all, if you told us about this problem we could help you. For the other problems we are very sorry, but in the night the reception is closed, and we can't control. The breakfast start from 7.30 a.m, probably the worker guy was engaged with an other gust.

The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. The facilities were very clean and organized. I can honestly recommend this property. What I did not like was the noise made by other guests when they arrived intoxicated really late at night screaming and slamming doors, and arguing without any consideration for other guests. I would advise posting signs in the hallways and elevators urging people to be silent and respectful.

Brilliant
The room was nice, clean and welcoming. We checked in very late at 10pm and we were so lucky that the receptionist kindly let us in. Room was brilliant, air conditioning available and made a big difference on a hot weather. Located just outside walls of Vatican City. Highly recommended.

This is more like a hostel with private room and bathroom. Seems like it was a house made into an Inn. Its right behind the vatican so if you are on a tight budget and must go to Rome you can stay here. Not a hotel, staff is very helpful and friendly. Its clean but there is a certain smell probably humidity. I only stayed to take a plane the next day.

A marvellous stay

Everything was great!
They tried their best to communicate with me, everything was clean, the room is very spacious, the bed is comfy, the A/C works perfectly, and it is a life saver when you go to Rome during the summer. There are several restaurants around and it is very easy to get to the metro. I would definitely stay there again and I totally recommend it!
