I truly have nothing to complain about this place as I knew about the nature of this property from other reviews prior to my bookkeeping. The place is only about 10 min walk from Roma Termini station. If you exit from the last door from the food court within Roma Termini, it is 3 blocks away. (The food court I am referring to is not the ones in front of you when you exit from your train. The food court I am referring to is the ones on the left hand side of the train station. Once you exit your train, if you turn left, there are clothing stores and food courts on the left side of the train station.) The place is very spacious, clean, and unique (with high ceiling and nice decors). It's not a hotel per se, but more like an Air B&B in my opinion. The place has about 5 rooms with various room sizes. It's secured with 3 sets of doors with keys ((1) front main entrance on the street, (2) entrance to Domus Napoleone, and (3) room key). There is no staff at the reception 24/7, which is totally understandable. The only thing I would say is that the side street is a bit dark in the night. This is not anything that Domus Napoleone can do as it does not control the number of street lights. I really don`t want my next remark to be interpreted as a negative comment, but I feel obligated to say it. If you are a solo traveller, and not comfortable living in a place with no staff on-site, this place may not be suitable for you. You may be the only one on the floor. Overall, I felt safe.

Great accommodation! Super close to Roma Termini station and walkable distance to the main touristic places. We stayed in an en-suite room with a nice open plan sitting/kitchen area with fridge, stovetop, kettle, etc. The place is clean and cosy. Stefano the host/manager was super helpful, easily accessible and friendly.The lady who organised the room for us (apologies for not knowing the nice lady’s name) was also very lovely. Both myself and my sister loved the place and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfy and convenient place to stay whilst visiting belíssima Roma. Grazie mille to Stefano and his team.

We stayed there for 7 night i I couldn’t say anything bad. Stefano was very helpful. He made sure we didn’t need anything and gave us very good recommendations for breakfast and dining.

Stefano is a great host and is very contactable should you need anything. Property is very walkable to the colosseum and not far from Trevi and Pantheon. Great budget friendly option for Rome.

It's a well-situated place but the walls are too thin. I was able to hear the upstairs' neighbors arguing, laughing and watching TV noises. It is near the Roma termini which is a plus! Great room, nice staff and service. If you are a deep sleeper, it is a perfect place to stay.

Cons: 3 flights of stairs (no lift). Rock hard bed with a single flat pillow each. No air con in the bedroom. Washing machine didn’t work. Hot water system hits your head when using the toilet. Single small window looking into an unkempt courtyard. The area around it is dirty and full of cheap shops. Pros: clean and tidy. Close to train

Just to let you know every our room have air conditioning and you can find the second pillow inside the wardrobe. The washing machine is not for the guest and you cannot use it, for this reason it is not part of the services listed in your reservation. However, if you had contacted me to ask me anything, I would have intervened promptly to make your 4 nights stay fantastic.

Good location for Trains/buses to/from airport. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and all main attractions. Very warm welcome from excellent host. Basic but clean accommodation and host was very helpful with our need for an extra bed. Noise from inside hotel from other guests at reception and people using stairs was excessive, due to the location of our room.

About the noise, i’m sorry, there is the second door where is the bed but the standard double room is not confortable for the extra bed and we didn’t have other rooms available when you did the extra bed request in order to do an upgrade for your reservation. Good stay. Stefano is a great host and was very helpful. Good value. Location isn’t the best in rome but if you’re savvy with transit or like to walk you can make do. Would recommend to younger travellers.

Good morning from Canada Stefano! This is long overdue but I wanted to thank you for all your help during our stay in May 2023. You went above and beyond for us. You totally understood the stress I was under in trying to make the most of our touring time in Rome balance with retrieving delayed luggage prior to our cruise departure. I booked this place for the convenience to the train station and it was perfect for that . The room was large. clean & quiet despite being on a busy street. Stephano was so friendly & communicative on whatsapp from the moment I booked and throughout our stay. When we arrived and he saw I was carrying heavy luggage up the stairs, he immediately ran Down the stairs to help me. The only thing that was confusing is that the hotel /room entrance Is not at the entrance to the building. It's on the 2nd floor. Luckily there was a very friendly man at the entrance who (not sure if he's the concierge of sorts to the building) was determined to help us find where we were going (even though he didn't Speak any english)

We really enjoyed our stay at Domus Napoleone. It is located in one of the main streets with lots of public transport and just 2 blocks away from the Termini station. We had a luxury triple room with three single beds. It was very spacious, with enough space for all our luggage, double glaze window looking on the street, a TV, fridge, kettle, desk, wardrobe, air conditioner, and in-room safe. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the room was quiet and provided good night sleeps. Great sheets and everything was very clean. The shower was freshly renovated, done with taste, modern and really spacious with free toiletries and daily housekeeping. The service and communication from Stefano was great throughout our whole stay and much appreciated. We felt comfortable, safe and happy in the centre of Rome with great access to everything that we wanted to see and do. I would happily book the same place again.

It was my first time staying in Europe. The rooms were not as I expected as per North America standards but were clean and safe and pretty good location. Not luxurious but adequate for the price point. Lots of eating options in every direction close to the room. Near the bus terminal and hop on hop of bus location. Stefan was beyond accommodating and he went above and beyond to make our stay a hit. He was outstanding!

Close to train station
This was a fair hotel located very close to the train station. While it is on the more basic side in terms of amenities, its proximity to the train station makes it great if you're going to the airport or taking another train.
