Entry instructions weren’t correct and spent 20 minutes trying to figure it out. Had to call host (who literally never was reachable, only spoke to others none of whom were Massimo). Also apartment door mechanism didn’t always work well, which was unnerving. Very small elevator would make it difficult if more than one person with bags. One of two aircons were broken, a window (on first floor with easy access to the street) was broken and would not close, allowing noise into the apartment all night, the railing at top of stairs to where bed is was loose and unsafe (particularly for older person), and the one working aircon did not reach bed in a small loft so was stuffy with bathroom next to it having a smell. Fan had to be set up down below near aircon to blow some air up from the aircon. “Kitchen” is essentially a hard-to-open closet with closet door by sink not fully opening. No light that I could find in that kitchen closet to see what one was doing. Furniture and other design features were from mid-1900s and not easily workable. Left early and host refusing to compensate. VRBO simply awful support. Have reached 3 coordinators all of whom said they would get back to me and never have and while they agree unsafe conditions and should be refunded they have not stepped up to provide the refund that host will not provide. Host wanted to correct issues, which require contractor/carpenters and apartment should not be rented until those things are fixed. Flatinrome and VRBO awful
