The hotel has a great location however I only had one issue that the bed was not comfortable and the mattress really need to be replaced beside that all was good

I’ve stayed here many times, last year it wasn’t great , this year it was disgusting and dirty. Bedspread had a huge stain, bathroom counter was dusty, dirty. Shower was also disgusting. Bed was so dirty and uncomfortable. I slept on a towel on top of the bed and couldn’t Wait for morning. Absolutely disgusting. Never ever again.

This hotel is a great place if you need to stay just a night or two in Rome, as it's location is within walking distance from the train station, even with big luggage. However, the room we stayed in had clearly been smoked in (you could smell it on the comforter on the bed), when we were supposed to have a non-smoking room. In addition, some jerk was ringing the doorbell of the hotel or some other business in the building early morning (6:30 am or something) for like five minutes straight. And due to the fact that reception is not available 24 hours, it was a problem.

Thank you for your feedback. We a have a small and family run Hotel and we can't offer a 24 hours reception service. Our Hotel is cheap and we offer all the facilities you can need. It is impossible to pretend more.

This place is clean, has personality and is located within walking distance of all the sights. The plumbing works (though didn't try the bidet). This is a find in this price category. Would stay there again. Lift played up a little bit, but it's on the first floor, so no big deal.

Convenient in Rome
The concierge, Pompeio, was extremely upbeat and helpful about trains, busses, etc.. the room was good, and clean except for mold in the bottom of the shower edges. The soap tray near the shower head kept falling down and the toilet paper apparatus kept falling apart. That said, the room was clean and comfortable and near to everything. There is a grocery store across the street and an excellent restaurant a couple doors down at the corner from the hotel. We would recommend.

Overnight stay, near Termini Station
Location good, not far from Termini station. Lift is tiny, so better to use the stairs, if you can (located up just one floor). Room was very big, as was the bathroom. Well presented, and comfortable, but felt a little sparse due to the size. Air-conditioning worked very well. Limited reception hours.

We were charged 8 euros for a cleaning fee for which no one came even once to clean during our stay. The location is very far from the Center. The bathroom had enough hot water for only one shower.

Dear Sir, you wronged Hotel. We have never asked any fee to clean the room and we clean it every day. We are in the center of Rome. I think you was been also in an other Hotel and you confused the other one with mine.

it has a very good location, close tot he train station, easy walking distance to most of the big sights, and just a quick trip by subway to the Vatican. Everything was very clean!

This is a wonderful hotel, with easy access to Termini train station, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, and the National Museum. The staff is really attentive and helpful, the rooms are very clean, and there is a great coffeeshop right downstairs. The building itself is old, so the elevator is a bit "quaint," but for a trip to Rome, this was perfect for us. There is a bit of street noise, but this is fairly common in similar hotels. This was our second trip to Rome, and I would definitely stay here if we make it back.

I appreciate that they are reasonable price but their facilities are outdated to be honest. Nice location,friendly staff. We realised wifi was very slow but after their reception’s closed, there were no one to help us. There is an emargency number to call but after Tim tourist sum stopped working,we had no local number to call. However during their reception time, they are helpful.

Nice and easy
We arrived Rome in a morning after long long freight and we were so tired. Luckily our room was ready to check-in! Hotel Leone is flexible (some hotels very strict about check-in time and don’t keep your luggage before or after your stay) and the reception is open long hours.

Everything was exactly as described in their add. The location was great, close to the train and city buses. Also very walkable to various sites. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Great option for a convenient hotel near Roma Termini station. Just a few minutes walk away. Also reachable on foot from other sights. Check-in and check-out were fine. Room was fine and clean. Not really a place if you want atmosphere, but it got the job done for its convenience. The wifi worked for the most part, though the signal could be improved in the rooms. No meals included but there was a great restaurant for dinner just around the corner. If I had an early flight again, I'd be fine with staying here.

Hotel was close to many of Romes landmarks and the staff were extremely helpful, room and facilities were quite basic but comfortable and clean, more than adequate for using as somewhere to sleep, if you want a more relaxing hotel stay then probably not for you, for someone who needs somewhere to sleep and shower it is ideal.

Pleasant stay
The location is great, quiet, close to train station and easy to reach everywhere. The single bed is quite small (I’m 5’2” which is fine for me, but my son is 5’11” and it’s a little bit tight for him). Overall it’s a good choice for 1-2 nights short stay

Charming, basic accommodation.
Basic but adequate accommodation. Simple rooms with fridge, TV (all Italian channels), closet, bathroom. Bathroom well supplied with shampoo, soap and towels, but could be cleaner. Daily housekeeping. Rooms facing street nice but can be a bit noisy for light sleepers (no problem for me). Front desk personnel very helpful and accommodating. Good location close to train station and walking distance to Colosseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain, etc. Good wifi. Located on 1st floor but elevator available.

Cozy Central Hotel
Hotel Leone is a few minutes walk from Termini train and subway station. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Room isn't big but has AC, en-suite washroom and shower (this is a big extra in Italy for those that don't know) and a working TV. Just what you need as a base to rest and relax while exploring the amazing city of Rome. I can't thank the friendly folks at the front desk enough, and the maid who left our room looking like new each night. For the price, I really have no complaints

Good hotel for your money.
Nice hotel. Walkable distance to many sites. Train station is 7 mins walking. We enjoy our stay here. The receptionist is very nice and helpful.
