Pro: 5 min walk to the Colosseum Con: There is no front desk. You are supposed to call them before you arrive. The number listed on Expedia just went to voicemail on many attemps. Could not fin the entry to Nakissa. A sign said 1st floor, but it was actually on 2nd floor. I inquired about where to park multiple time, with very little help on where to park, or what to expect. This place reminds me of a hostel. The breakfast looked like it was picked up at a 7-11. I would not stay here again, not a good experience.

Good morning anonymous, we are a guest house as report in all our information, about parking we already answer that we are in the limitation traffic area and well explain how to park before, we are on the first floor, we have reception but if you came late in the night time of course you have to call, Thanks anyway Nakissa Inn staff

Great location
Great location, walking distance to the attractions, such as Colosseum, Venice Square. It also close to the supermarket, restaurants, ect. There is a pub downstairs, good price. We had lunch/dinner there for the days we didn't want to walk too far. The owner is very nice and friendly. He gave us a lot of helpful information on how to get to the attractions, helped us with our luggage and calling the taxi. Good experience!

When we arrived at 7pm the room had still not been cleaned therefore we were informed to go out and only return around 8pm - 9pm. It looks much better in the pictures....average stay.

Good location, but no staff
The room itself was ok, but the reception is not manned all the time. Had to wait for 20 minutes for checking in. Nobody at checkout ( 7:15 AM in the morning) either. Although breakfast was included in my booking couldn't eat anything as it only opens at 8:00 AM. How is it different from an Airbnb if there is no staff? Great location though. AC works well. Good water pressure in the shower.

Very close to the Colossium
Were booked in to stay at the Nakissa Inn but after the first night the manager moved us to a different hotel due to the noise from the bar downstairs. This is a good place to stay if you are going to be out and about during the evening. I can not fault the hotel/Inn as they were very helpful and went above and beyond to make certain our trip was pleasant.

Basic comfort with great location.
Nakissa is a very different, but a still a pleasant overall experience for us. The inn itself is small about 6 or so rooms all different from each other. Our first room had a nice street side view of Via Cavour, but was noisy from the bars below at night, so we switched rooms. AC is good. The front desk is only manned during the business day. After hours you called the owner on his cell phone. Prime location (1 block from the forum) and bang for the buck are its strongest qualities.

Lovely hotel close to everything !
Second stay at this hotel and will stay again on our next trip to Rome. Rooms clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Cant fault at all

Nakissa Inn is the perfect location in Rome. It's literally walking distance to the colosseum, victorrio Emmanuel palace, trevi fountain, Michelangelo museum. Plenty of restaurants right next door and souvenir shops. The bed was firm. The breakfast was simple.Cereals, toast, brie, jam, yogurt. Coffee and tea available 24/7. Roberto was very kind. He helped get our phone returned that we left in the room. They over a airport shuttle for 50 euros that he set up for us. Overall great stay. Would stay here again.

Good location for a city break.
Hotel is well located with the forums, Colosseum and Piazza Venezia all within 10 minutes, it that. The breakfast was simple continental and the tea and coffee facilities were available all day to make up for the lack of facilities in the room. We had a family room and the actual room was quite cramped with a double and two singles, but then the idea is not too spend too long in the room anyway. The staff were very friendly and helpful but be aware it is not a 24 hour reception. in general the Rrestaurants in Via Leonina are better than those in Via Cavour. Very happy with this choice of hotel for the purpose of our visit.

Excellent position
Booked Nakissa but was moved to due to plumbing issues. Roberto made sure we were happy with the move to one of his other guesthouses. Booked and paid for one large family room - given two small rooms which was perfectly fine. Absolutely spotless. Cleaned every day. Hotel in an ideal position on Via Nationals, 4 mins walk from bus terminal.

We enjoyed our stay at Nakissa Inn. It was a very nice bed & breakfast atmosphere. The rooms were clean, kitchen was available 24/7.Evenings were a little noisy as a restaurant is right below and sleeping was difficult due to the loud music.

Great bolt hold close to Colloseum
I stayed here with my partner for 4 nights. We experienced some difficulty locating the entrance due to the poor signage. We walked repeatedly up via Cavour until I finally noticed a small sign next to a brown door. Unfortunately our flight was delayed and staff were not around to welcome us. We called and were soon met by a member of staff who provided us with instructions and showed us to our rooms. The room was basic but very clean. There was a lovely little courtyard to have breakfast on. The breakfast was perhaps a little to be desired with only basics (packaged croissants / toast / cheese / yoghurts) The bed was very comfortable and there was extra pillows and blankets available if needed We had some difficulty working the A/C and never actually worked out how to operate it The bathroom was more than adequate with a powerful shower The domestic was very friendly and helped us when we locked our key in the room. She also allowed us to stow our luggage on our last day so we could make the most of Rome whilst waiting for our evening flight Definately would return and reccommend to family and friends.

We arrived at approx 5 pm, to be met with a locked door and no way to enter the hotel, after calling the telephone number on the booking confirmation 3 times the owner arrived about 6pm, We were not very pleased to be standing in a very busy street for an hour! The owner then told us very firmly that we were supposed to contact the hotel to tell them of our arrival time, which was no where stated when booked through Expedia, anyway after getting into our Room, if was very clean but could have done with a complete overhaul as it was very worn. The hotel is situated directly above and VERY BUSY bar/restaurant which played very loud music until 5pm each morning, meaning we had very little sleep at all. whilst the hotel was clean and tidy i would NOT stay here again or recommend it especially for families with children,

Nice Location
The hotel is really close to the major tourist attractions. The room is very spacious and comfy. Overall I had a good experience at this hotel, and would definitely use it again if I come back to Rome.

Right in the middle of most of the top tour attractions, all easy 5-10 minutes to walk. Very old area , as is all of roma, right on a very busy main street. But overall very nice staff, and location

We were issued our own keys and we can come in and get out anytime with instruction to make sure we lock the doors. There is no staff except in the morning and afternoon. The facilities are clean and functional with no TV. Directly down our room is a bar and we could hear music and talking/laughing till way past midnight although we were able to sleep. We can have juices, milk, hot water, instant coffee and tea and bread, butter, cheese, jellies and cereals whenever we want. Clean plates, cups, utensils are available with instruction that we wash and clean them after staff leaves... For the price and feeling at home, we can live with it.

Stayed 3 nights to see old Rome. Location couldn't be better - 5 min walk to colosseum and forum, national monument and the subway. Tons of restaurants and gelato right on our street. Roberto was a great host. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good. I'd go back in a heartbeat

We stay at Nakissa inn last week, the owner is very helpful. Nothing fancy on the breakfast menu. Just basic. AC in the room was not cooling that well. Hotel is located literally behind the Colosseum and 10 mins away from Termini station.

Great place to stay!
Great location right next to Colloseum! It was very clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was the a/c not being cool enough, but not bad. There is nobody at the reception area, unless you request to see someone, so make sure to make check-in plans with them ahead of time to make sure somebody is there for you when you arrive. Otherwise it's great!

Nakissa is the perfect location in Rome. A few minutes walk from everywhere. There are also many metro stations around for the further sites you can't walk to. It is very safe. I felt extremely safe. You need 2 keys before getting into the hotel floor which makes it feel safe. We arrived late and the staff was waiting for us.

good stay for the price
over all very nice place to stay. rooms were nice beds were not horrible. but a interesting note they are 2 single beds tied together... but even with that your gonna be to tired from the heat and walking to care. you have access to the kitchen where they provide yogurt, juice, milk, croissants, bread, jam, cheese 24/7 to you. as well as a little patio outside but inclosed. the guy running the place was very nice and had a great sense of humor. the worst part about my experience was arriving. we had trouble finding how to get in, then found a small sign and a big locked door. no one around new what i was talking about when i asked for help. i finally asked someone smoking outside the door and he said just go in when someone comes out. and so that is what i did. found the hotel main door and it is also locked with no one answering. went upstairs to another hotel and had a lady call for me and he came and let us in within 10 mins. so make sure you contact the hotel before arrival and let them know when youll be there to save your self a headach. the shower was also low pressure and did not maintain hot water through out, it might be just the room i was in or just old building problems. but all in all it ended up being a good experience and it is nice inside. another thing to note is that the restaurant downstairs does play loud music until midnight or 1am so if your a light sleeper take that into account, i however had no problems sleeping with it.

Nakissa inn is a small property of about 6 rooms. Very friendly staff and they're happy to help. Location is perfect! We walked everywhere! Collosseum - 5 min walk Trevi fountain - 15 min walk Piazza Navona - 20 min walk Pantheon - 20 min walk Excellent options for food and gelato around the neighbourhood - try places off the main street, they're generally cheaper and better quality food. Our room was nice, internet was fast but the room lacked a tv. Although you don't come to Rome to watch tv. Would definitely recommend to all travellers.

Basic hotel - clean and excellent location
We had a quad room which was a bit squashy . The breakfast was basic but adequate although on one day we had no milk. Negatives: -very very noisy at night with booming music from downstairs -on arrival we kept banging front door... no answer.. i eventually went to restaurant next door and spoke to a waiter who opened the front door... the building is subdivided into small hotels and businesses. We phoned the owner and he came and let us into Nakissa.

Mit solo ophold i Oktober
Jeg var utrolig glad for beliggenheden, men at bo ud til en travl og stor gade, betyder også at det støjer om aften. Lydisoleringen imellem værelserne er også ret dårlig, så hvis man bliver nemt generet af andres “larm”, er det måske ikke stedet for dig! Udover det er selve værelset helt tilpas. Meget af indretningen er nyt, da de renoverede stedet under covid/nedlukningen. Jeg havde måske ønsket noget mere opbevaringsplads (i form af hylder) til tøj, men ellers var der alt hvad jeg skulle bruge. Ejeren var utrolig venlig og hjælpsom både ved min ankomst og da jeg skulle hjem. Pga Covid måtte rengøringspersonalet ikke være på mit værelse i løbet af opholdet, men det passede mig fint, da mit ophold kun varede 4 dage. Jeg kan klart anbefale Nakissa Inn til dem som ikke er bange for lidt støj og værdsætter en fantastisk beliggenhed til en billigere pris!

Dit hotel heeft een geweldige ligging! Bijna naast het Colosseum en het Forum, in de straat fietsverhuur en veel eetgelegenheden. Het hotel zelf is netjes, ruime kamer, maar simpel. Het ontbijt is erg eenvoudig. Dit hotel is zeker aan te bevelen.
