Dear Jonathan Stoute, You stayed at Relais Rione Ponte on April 9-12, 2024 and we thank you for your feedback.However, we believe that our boutique guesthouse has been mistaken with another property, may be in Florence?First of all, we are not an AirBnb house or appartment but a boutique guesthouse with 9 rooms, offering tailor -made hospitality: concierge and reception services, daily houskeeping service in a fantastic location around Piazza Navona, in Rome.Breakfast is not offered or included, we offer free daily coffee and capuccino with biscuits in the room or in the Lounges.There are no construction in our building, neither in Via Zanardelli 20 or in Piazza di Tor Sanguigna.Moreover, we do not have showers in the bedrooms. Showers are inside the bathrooms and all our bathrooms have a wooden door or thick door definitely not in glass.We remain at your complete disposal and look forward to welcoming you in a near future.Kind regards,

Dear Esterlitz, We are very sorry to learn about your dissatisfaction which turns to be a real surprise since the four of us Eugenia, Beatrice, Silvia and Laura, saw and talked to you and your husband every morning during a 7 day stay.First of all, we are not a hotel but a boutique guesthouse, that offers attentive and knowleadgeable first class service, elegant and comfortable rooms in an ideal location to explore Rome.The entrance is typical of a 17th century building in an ancient city like Rome but there is no lobby or hotel entrance.The Superior Room that was assigned, was not ready by 9.00 am when you arrived. We understand it may be fustrating after an intercontinental flight and this is why sometimes our Guests book the previous night in order to have a guaranteed early check in. Nonetheless, we gave top priority to your room and you checked in by noon, before regular check in time.As per the glass of prosecco upon arrival, I offered an expresso since it was early morning and you mentioned to be tired. Therefore, I welcomed you and accommodated you in the Lounge. Our Lounge has a large comfortable sofa where in fact, you could lay down and sleep until the room was ready.Then a bottle of prosecco was offered as we usually do, for this special occasion, your anniversary and not to make you relax, also because air conditioning was working properly specially considering it was late October and temperatures were under 25/26 degrees Celsius (No Fahrenheit) However, the technician came and checked to make sure its setting was correct and according to the recent instructions regarding limit to air conditioning and heating.We are sorry that our Hospitality did not meet your expectations. In fact, Rome offers several options of accommodations including many five star hotels.Kind regards,

Each bathroom is equipped with enough tp and we are sorry for this forgetfulness. Our housekeeper is new here and she still need to practise. Regarding AC, we are sorry it was not sufficient. Unfortunately we are not allowed to set the temperature lower than we already have, due to a Government rule. To be said, we are experiencing a boiling hot summer this year, so we understand that might be not enough. We offer tea and coffee facilities in each room, with local biscuits or muffins for a quick snack; Also, we are delighted to offer a complimentary espresso or cappuccino as well when you ask us in the morning; it always come with some buiscuit! American coffee and biscuits are offered complimentary in the Lounge We have carefully listed a few suggestions where you can go for the type of breakfast you prefer, from a traditional Italian cafe for just an espresso and cornetto to an American or English full one, nearby and in the different neighbourhood.
