This propert felt like the perfect location for our trip to Rome. It wasn’t too far from the Termini and it was only 1 street away from the Santa Maggiore, but the atmosphere was much calmer than I expected. It was a nice surprise. The staff were very polite and helpful. I would definitely stay there again given the opportunity.

One of the very few good things - it’s close to Termini - convenient to get about. It’s a mile from the Spanish Steps - so it’s a decent hoof but that’s not too bad either. The room was… decently proprotioned but the AC didn’t work. Rome was in the midst of a mistral wind induced chill but my room was still so warm I was sweating. The walls are PAPER thin - I could hear the folks two rooms over doing … couple stuff. I could hear the person the next room over having coughing fits. The bathroom was absolutely TINY. The shower was about 1.5 ft by 1.5 ft - barely enough to bend/ turn. The towels were also not properly replaced - twice I found a towel I put on the ground hung back up on a hook. The toilet seat had a few spots on it that wouldn’t come off and had an unfortunate color - so it felt like the cover wasn’t clean even though it was. Now while I said that being around Termini is convenient - something to keep in mind are the folks around termini. The catcalls. The feeling that you’re somehow a mark. I got pick pocketed. And for whatever it’s worth, someone who works there felt it was completely OK to ask me out - and not really seeing a way out of the situation, I said “sure let’s coordinate” to get a barrage of WhatsApps telling me what we could do. I’m not sure it’s professional to ask a guest of the hotel to go out with them - may be I’m just old fashioned. All in all, do NOT recommend.

We are responsabile what happened inside the hotel noy outside.the room you reserved was a standard room, so it is not so large, but confortable. the towels are changed every three days as written everywhere.regarding the receptionist who invited you to go out , please i need to know exactly who is. tHis is not a behaviour we usually have in this hotel and i am very sorry about it. , please can you tell me who is? the day and the timethis happened.thank uouThe Manager

The hotel’s receptionist was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at ease with our stay. The rooms are very clean and have a beautiful, unique aesthetic which feels modern but still has character. There is no breakfast at the hotel but there are many options just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Advantages: the hotel is very well located in a quiet area and close to everything; the rooms are charming and comfortable. Disadvantages: the service was not great as the room was not ready upon check-in and the second room had malfunctioning appliances. The issue was resolved eventually, we were moved to a different room quite quickly and could settle for the rest of the stay comfortably.

We appreciated the location of this hotel. Close to all the variety of transportation. Michael at the front desk spoke good English and the dining for the breakfast was close and just right.

This property was poorly marked on a street that looks like an alley. We had to call the hotel to actually find out where it was, in spite of having an address. When we called at 10:30pm the phone was transferred to another number that was answered by a lay person not related to the hotel. Then we were given another number. When we finally got to the room, the bathroom had bugs crawling on the floor, the shower and sinks were dirty. We told the staff and they said "no one has ever told us that before"! We told them we did not want to stay a second night because of the condition of the room. They still charged us for the second night in spite of not staying there. Expedia gave this hotel a good rating and it was very bad.

Loved the historic yet modern nature of accommodations. Our room didn’t look much like the pics online when we booked but had a outside window to the alley. The room was a little on the small side but you see that a lot in Europe. There were 2 English language channels on the tv. The young man at the desk was very kind. The property sent us notice about no breakfast buffet instead we would get a food box was surprised when the did have a pastry and coffee with juice bar on the 3rd floor. Near by was restaurants and needed options all within a few blocks. The Alley was kind of filthy and front was not as welcoming as I was expecting based on online pics. Was a good stay, at an affordable rate, with a great location.

Really nice hotel, room perfect. Very comfortable and ideal for a city break. Staff was polite and helpful. Close to the train station. The only issue was the shower cubicle was very small for a adult. Overall very good.

I was extremely impressed with this property and it was absolutely a delight to stay here. I stayed in the junior suite, in room 6 and the room was absolutely perfect. It was very very spacious and I had a nice double bed with a lounge and a very comfortable modern, well equipped bathroom and the decor was exquisite, and I especially loved the roof..design. it is in a very safe and quiet area and also walkable to many of the attractions including Saint Mary Major, Mamertine Prison, and the Colosseum and its surrounds. Service was wonderful and they have changed their breakfast around now to a pre-prepared breakfast in the room but this was adequate... and gives you the option of eating it whenever you wish. I have rebooked another stay there this time for longer and again in the junior suite

No buffet breakfast as promised :(
The room and location were good, however our booking included breakfast for a 5 night stay. We chose the hotel because it provided a buffet breakfast. The hotel stated it had internal problems so could not longer provide buffet breakfast. OK problems happen...BUT no apology, no warning email, just some packets of biscuits and a box of orange juice in the room instead. We complained and the hotel would only compensate us 2euro per person per day for breakfast which was not enough to replace what we were missing out on, fresh food etc. They prioritised their profit over understanding that this was disappointing and an inadequate solution. The Hotel Manager adamant that we had not paid 'extra' for breakfast therefore didn't not deserve any more compensation. On the plus side Hotels.com customer service were excellent and helped us out.

Goodmorningwe apologies for the breakfast, but from the 1st of august is no longer possible to make the buffet. Anyway we provided to put onall the rooms the necessary for first breakfast .as told ,you did not pay extra for breakfast, in that case you had of course been refund, but it was included on the room price, we gave it as complimentary service.but as you were not satisfied we refund you also 2 euro per person,so 30 euro was refund, plus the basket breakfast everyday in the room, with necessary for breakfastregards

I was in between travels and I needed a quite night sleep near termini station so i could recharge before my other travels. Unfortunately I did not slept at all. The smell of Sewerage coming from the toilet was so intense I didn't make me feel confortable and having the sleep and rest I was looking for :(

It’s sad when they think we’re lying, I believed it’s an error on Expedia, but have no way to connect the Expedia, therefore they charged us more than what we expected. Wouldn’t recommended anyone to this hotel

The location of the hotel is perfect. It’s close to any of the Rome’s attractions. Staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. Good condition inside and outside of the hotel, beds, showers etc. however! We have stayed for 4 days and no one properly cleaned the room, the towels were never changed until we asked to change them. Cleaning staff replaced used towels from one place to another, the bed linen also was not changed, the condition of the blanket was terrible. Breakfast was somehow okay, but once the juice was sour/rotten.

Goodmorningwe are sorry about this, but the first day you did not want the cleanimg service! then normally the towels are changed every three days, only in case they are very dirty we can change it , or if you ask clean one, same thing for the linen.it is strange that you ask clean towels and wasn't given to you..
