"Loved our stay here! Everything was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Holly was so kind, breakfast included in our stay, coffee, etc. was a plus. The Inn is very well maintained and the gardens, trees and flowers really made our stay even more inviting. Recommendations to local restaurants were great as well. Location is great for exploring waterfalls, hiking, fishing, or just resting. Thank you for our wonderful stay. Hope to come back again."

"Overall this place was excellent. We didn’t know they were under construction when we were coming. And while we look forward to coming back when it’s all done, it was just a shock, especially with young kids we just had to be extra aware. The lake was getting construction done as well so not a pretty view like the pictures you’ll see. The beds are kinda high and the floors are hard. Our youngest knows how to get down from a bed, but the higher bed made him hit his head on the floor. So bed rails as an option would be great for families- or bring one. That said, these beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept on in an hotel!!! Also no tv in the room. And that’s fine, again- just different. We wanted to use it for a sound machine but there wasn’t one. Also the room gets VERY dark at night! We love that! But also may want to bring a nightlight. Food was great! Staff were so sweet and helpful! I hate the library was closed when we were there too. We will be back after renovation to see this property at its fullest ! Bonus points, we saw a baby deer!"

"Upon arrival for our reserved stay, no staff members were onsite. We had to call for someone to bring a key to our room. After settling in, we decided to leave for dinner & the key provided would not lock the door. We had to call again for someone to help with the issue. The room was clean and organized well. However, the TV remote didn't function well (possibly low batteries). Most of the issues with this booking could have been avoided if owners or management spent a little more time checking the little things in each room periodically. The owner of the hotel stated that due to the issues he would credit our stay for $50. As of this writing, the refund has NOT been received."
