We did a boat tour of Jocassee out of Devils Fork State Park which was less than 10 minutes away. We enjoyed the quiet, away from our usual city sounds. We would recommend this place for sure!"

"This is truly a gem near DuPont National Forest. The property location is as close as you would expect - 10 minutes drive to all the waterfalls and scenic hikes as well as stores nearby. My family stayed for 3 days and we had so much fun at the cabin. It has pretty much everything and the owner Susan and Gerald were very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The hot tub was a huge plus for the kids. We would definitely visit again. "

"Absolutely everything we expected and more!!The house was perfect for our family and with it only being four of us, we had lots of room to spare. My daughters were obsessed with the movie theater and I was in heaven in the hot tub on the back deck. The location is great too! Not a far drive from the Lake Club and the pickle ball courts, plus we were able to walk to the park! We took advantage of ALL of the amenities like taking a guided hike, the sunset cruise, renting kayaks and paddle boards, etc. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation and we will absolutely be back!! "

"This property is absolutely excellent. Located in a gated area (security) this rental is the bottom half of a large well maintained home, and if you're concerned about privacy because of that, you needn't be. We didn't hear a sound from our hosts Ursula and Frank, until we invited them down to make our acquaintance. We had a great time talking with them too ---so very friendly and down to earth. On top of that, you'll really appreciate the quiet and privacy they offer. Next...If you want mountain views, you'll have it from every room. A large picture window in the kitchen area actually makes cleaning your dishes a treat, and if you forgot something, its probably in one of the drawers. We took notice to that immediately. The thought they gave to the 'little things". The living area has a very comfortable chair with a massage feature, and a sofa and dining table. And again a nice view of the mountains as well. In the bedroom, there is a comfortable king size bed, and to us, has got to be a California King...its Big. The bathroom has plenty of space and water pressure is more than adequate. One other note about the inside, the one thing that really stood out was that it was absolutely spotless. Now about the outside, you'll have plenty of shade cover if you want it, or you can set the chairs out on the lawn. There is a big firepit with chairs and a picnic table and gas grill. All in all, we would highly recommend this property. You'll be very glad you did. "
