"Beds were extremely comfortable. Fresh towels each day. Pool area and pool was just lovely but too cold to use for the time of year. Great location to walk everywhere. Room needed some maintenance- alot of the shutter slats were broken and there was no alternative (ie curtains) to pull over the windows. Broken tiles at the bottom of the shower wall allowing all the water to run into the internal wall (not that it bothered us but it should bother the resort!)"

"A very nice cabin in the middle of the rainforest. If you want to get close to nature, this is the place. Mixed reviews on the staff. Not quite friendly and somewhat condescending. The food at the restaurant was good but quite overpriced. $36 and up for an entrée."
Safari Lodge

"Lovely modern cabins with amenities not far away to walk and right next to the pool. Fair parking for guests but could do with more parking out the front when visiting the restaurant. No freezer in the camp kitchen for ice cream storage, but a large fridge. Toilets and showers could do with an upgrage to match the cabin quality. Not a lot of room around the pool. Great to have an on site cafe serving coffee from 7.30am. great to stay over when you are doing a Reed trip"

"Unique property with canvas sides, outside kitchen and bathroom. Gorgeous hikes to swimming holes and through rainforest to the beach as well as many others."

"Great opportunity to stay in a unique setting and accommodation and experience remote far North Queensland. Sam was very helpful in making it happen for us. Our small dog enjoyed the freedom of the secure garden area."

"We really enjoyed this beautiful, peaceful lodge. Breakfast was good and the hosts delightful. They shared a lot about the local history and culture. Don’t miss the historic rock art nearby."
