"Excellent position overlooking Four Mile Beach, while being an easy walk to the shopping area. Good size 1 bedroom suite with a great balcony. The swimming pool area is very good. Just a couple of things that could be improved - the floors needed a really good clean and there were quite a few cobwebs around the ceiling and entry doorway. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again."
"This is our second time in a swim out room and we love it. The pool access is a bonus, proximity to town, the marina and the beach is also a plus for us. Easy to walk everywhere means we didn’t need a car for the time we were there."

"The room was comfortable, parking was easy, the pool was lovely. It’s about 2.5k from the centre of town. It looks like they’re in the midst of renovating the place so it’ll be good to come back and see how it turns out. "

"I didn’t realise how central it is to everything - the beach, yoga, shops, cafes, restaurants, mariner.
I felt safe, loved the room and the gorgeous wildlife that I could see everyday and night from my balcony.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool and shared BBQ area was perfectly positioned for sun and shade. Whilst in the pool area, I met lovely elderly folk, young families and 20-something party goers! It’s a place to stay for all ages. I’m so so pleased I chose Mantra In The Village and will definitely be back! "
"Room was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Macrossan House was right in the main street - easy access to everything. Walk to both beaches, walk to marina and cruises. Absolutely wonderful and beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again!"
"Excellent property- glad we booked for when we did. Last couple of days was when school holidays started and complex started to fill with families that tended to take over the pool. Pub on Main Street was quite noisy - these are observations and due to timing of our stay didn’t really affect us."

"We absolutely loved the location of this place. We have stayed in Port Douglas before but this was our favourite spot by far! It was comfortable, gorgeous views and appreciated that the pool was heated. Anthony (who was staying upstairs) was super helpful and respectful of our space. It was very quiet. We would definitely stay again! The only thing to make sure you are aware of if travelling with young kids is that the master bedroom is very separate from the other bedroom. I realise the floor plan was included in the photos but didn’t realise that the section in the middle is open air and can be accessed from the driveway by glass pool fencing (with no lock). This meant we had to lock the kids in the main part of the accomodation (that did not include our bedroom) at night. We bought a baby monitor and this fixed the problem but would be good to note for anyone staying and worried about security. "
"We had a fabulous stay at Saltwater and the accommodations were perfect. The location was convenient and near all the restaurants and shopping! We were less than a 5 minute walk to the Four Mile Beach and we enjoyed our morning runs there. Thank you, Paul for all of your help during our stay. "
