Definitely recommend and reservations book way out, so book early! And tip: ask for Mark to be your driver... Seriously I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard

It was in a very handy location, It delivered more than I expected to be honest. Made to feel welcome. Only complaint was an inconsiderate person talking loudly on his cellphone outside my door instead of doing it in his own unit - which would have been the logical thing to do, without exception or debate.

Great location! Good hotel.

We traveled as a couple and stayed 2 nights. It is a bit dated and an older hotel, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. We spent hardly anytime in the hotel while we explored Rotorua and the surrounding areas, and the hotel was nicely located for that. Room was spacious and clean, but a bit dated. The front desk check in was very smooth and the staff were all incredibly polite, helpful, and nice! There was no AC, but they had a fan in the room which we used and was fine for us traveling during the summer months. Breakfasts is included, but it is basic continental: breads, jams/jelly, butter toaster, yogurt, orange juice, coffee, Milk, and basic cereal. Good hotel, would absolutely stay again!

Central to all the attractions and the town. A big shopping area with all the large warehouse stores just opposite. Easy access to major routes. The parking was a bit tight and there was some road noise. The staff were extremely good and were keen to answer any questions and provide anything asked for.

Room was ok, hot water tap was leaking the lady got the plumber to fix it for next day no worries some of the walls need painting in the room bed was comfortable thou it was a small room location was ok, good that they had the breakfast coffee was good overall was ok, not sure stay again though

Third stay.

Third time I have stayed at this motel and will continue to come to this motel. Friendly staff, nice decor, convenient to shops and activities, walkable distance to supermarkets and nice bedding. Needs a few small repairs and a bit of gardening done but doesn't affect stay. Look forward to next visit.

Comfy stay!

The place was quiet and an easy drive to other places nearby. Room was spacious and comfortable for two of us. Breakfast was very simple - Cereals and some bread. The lady at the counter was very nice and helpful!

Decadent motel with a nice location.

Nice motel with a great location. 10 minutes walk from “downtown” and groceries stores nearby. The standard was just ok. The wifi was nothing to brag about. Ended up just using my mobile data.

We checked in after hours and they gave us clear instructions on how to get our room key which was super easy. We were in an upstairs unit no.10 and it was nice and clean but the toilet was in need of an upgrade. The water pressure of the shower was terribly weak and took so long to heat up. Very comfy bed though and we appreciated the warm heater on the cold nights. Didn't get a chance to try the free breakfast between 8-9am. But I think the price we paid was fair for what you get and the location is great.

Accolade Lodge is OK

No one was in the front office and I had to wait a long time to be acknowledged during check-in although the staff was efficient once they did help me. The room was clean but in need of some improvements, it felt a little run down for the price. Some paint and finishing touches to smooth some rough edges on the cabinets would help. There's a grocery store across the street (across the large parking lot) and it's only a 1/2 mile walk to the main shopping area which is great because parking's a nightmare down there. It's only slightly further to walk to the Polynesian Spa although you may be so relaxed you don't want to walk back so a drive might be more convenient. There's a free continental breakfast but the sign at the front desk says it's $8 so that's confusing and some of the staff wasn't sure if it was included or not. The parking is tight so if you have a large vehicle or camper van you won't be able to park in the lot. Not sure if there's street parking as no one was parked on street. They have 2 levels so if you have trouble with stairs you should request a lower unit. I didn't have any trouble with noisy neighbors.
