"Exactly as listed. My husband and I came for our anniversary and we wanted a place that we could disconnect from the outside world. It was perfect! Close enough to see some beautiful scenery but perfectly tucked away to enjoy peace and quiet! We will defiantly be back!!"

"This place had everything you need for a stay super close to the base of Terry Peak. Perfect for a family of 4. Private hot tub was great, it was quiet and was setup to feel secluded. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Would recommend and would love to visit in the summer months."

"We really enjoyed everything about this place. Felt like we were in the country but had quick access to Rapid City. It was a cozy place to be on a wintry post-Christmas vacation and play games by the fire--I have always enjoyed fireplaces and we made good use of this one. (wouldn't recommend you try it if you don't know what you're doing). Also appreciated that there wasn't a list of 57 things to do upon leaving. Would recommend it and stay there again!"

"We started the trip with an unexpected visit to the ER (nothing to do with the chalet). Still, all ended up well and we enjoyed spending the rest of the time together listening to music, cooking, and reminiscing. Travel was put on hold but that was okay because we had all the comforts of home. Becci checked to make sure we had what we needed and we felt very pampered."

"The property was comfortable, cozy and clean. The location was perfect as it was in the middle of all the attractions we went there to see. The host, Carol was very friendly and helpful. And speaking of the location, it was well out into the countryside nestled amongst the tall pines. There were more deer and wild turkeys and we could here the elk bugle in the distance. We were not disappointed."

"It was amazing! The host Blackhill's Adventure Lodging was very accommodating, our stove went out and they promply brought us a brand new one. The only complaint-they need to find a new cleaning service. The floors and counter tops were dirty."

"We had a wonderful week at this cabin exploring the black hills! Cozy cabin that is fairly secluded. Beautiful views with deer in the meadow daily. Hot tub was wonderful once we got the water hotter. Outdoor gas fireplace was very soothing. We had trouble with the lock but the property management was quick to respond. Shelves in the master bedroom suite were dusty but otherwise very clean. No cell service but did have WiFi. Fairly central location to explore everything. Not a lot of options for...

"Property is in a beautiful setting. Hot tub is great. Had what we needed in the kitchen and nice to have lots of towels for shower/hot tub. The reason for four stars is that the house had a lot of strong, plug-in fragrance things that we unplugged, but then the downstairs room had a really strong musty/moldy smell. Not sure how to address this without tearing out drywall, but fixing this would make it 5-star."

"Awesome property perfect size for the weekend for 2. Just need to point out that the kitchen and bathroom needs curtains although the tint keeps anyone from seeing inside during the Day it’s totally opposite at night gives full veiw in nighttime hours. Fortunately there’s a hillside view on those windows overall rating gets a 10 will definitely be booking again."
