"Even though it was after the hurricane and not, everybody was on board for tourists, I had a wonderful time. The staff treated me like family, the grounds were still beautiful and the hula and ukulele lessons in the lobby were wonderful. Everyone there treated me with great aloha and even without a car it was a great place to be when I come back to this is where I stay."

Kauai Shores Hotel

"Free banana muffin with my breakfast? I don’t know if that’s Shay’s the case, but it was a darned delicious surprise. Very clean room. Great location. Free bike rental for guests. Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel."

"It’s the perfect location. Just a few steps to the beach. Everything you need across the street, Safeway, Starbucks, ABC store (variety) and several places to eat. The rooms are a bit dated and could use new carpets."

"The woman at the front desk was so sweet and kind. Made the check in process easy. The stay itself was great ,not loud, nice rooms king size bed, WiFi, fridge & microwave included . Also great view of the water , will definitely be returning here (:"

"The property was perfect for our needs and we loved how usable the kitchen was. Everything was walkable from this room and the property was well maintained."

"The best features was the location on the beach and we had a balcony over looking the beach. The other positive was the proximity to the Coconut Market- walking distance to shops and restaurants. However it was not well lit at night so it could be hazardous walking. More lights are definitely needed. Our unit was also in need of an upgrade. The staff was helpful but they are not always available at the front desk."

"The Sheraton was our go-to when we evacuated Poipu due to hurricane Lowell. They were very accommodating providing food, water, etc even when no power was available in our room. Can’t say enough about how sweet the staff was during our stay, even though they were extremely shorthanded."

"The property was beautiful and had more than the required essentials we needed. Short walk to the beach where we saw a monk seal relaxing. The pool and hot tubs were amazing."
