Failed to return my laptop charger
I left my computer charger plugged in the wall socket next to the bed, I called within 2hrs of checking out to notify the hotel that i had done this but even having had to called back the next day too they claimed (or their cleaning staff claimed) that they had not found it. I absolutely did leave it in the room, there was no way I was confused and did not. Very disappointed with the poor service of the hotel and I suspect dishonest nature of their cleaning staff.

Booked for 1 night prior to an onsite overnight stay. Asked if I could stay in the room I was in rather than move to the one for the next night. Absolutely no problems in facilitating this, stayed loads of times before all excellent

Disappointing service
Strange layout with rooms other side of the campus, room it self was clean and comfy. Service in the bar was poor waited over 15 minutes in a queue for a drink as one member of staff for quite a number of customers was not enough! I asked if I could get a table in the restaurant and was told if I was eating on my own I had to order from the bar menu and sit in the bar area. I ended up leaving hotel and going to leamington spa to find food.

Lovely comfortable room. I was particularly impressed when I needed to cut short my stay that a refund for the unused night was immediately offered by reception without me even needing to ask. Impressive !

Recommended only let down by average evening meal
Very friendly and helpful staff on reception. The room we had was in the quadrant and just a very shot walk to the main house. Plenty of parking close by and the hotel grounds are lovely. Our room was a very good size and very clean. The bathroom was large too, with a full-size bath. The evening meal was a bit of let down, considering everything else was so good. Nothing wrong with it, but it wasn't great and not that cheap either. The breakfast, though, was excellent - plenty of choice and all very good quality. Overall, the price was very good value for money with great room and breakfast. Just go somewhere else for a better evening meal.

Spoilt by things which could be avoided
All in all very good accommodation.. Dinner was expensive for what was basically a ' pub ' type meal....A lovely breakfast was spoilt by the fact they had ' run out ' of Brown sauce !!!! Unbelievable ! Also having staff that can actually speak good English would be a bonus as well.

Excellent stay at Ashorne
The service, room and food were excellent. There was a problem with our twin room actually turning out to be a double, but as a result we were each given our own room to avoid further inconvenience. Can’t get any better than that!

Ashorne hill had a nice room. i ate at the bar on my stay and had the chicken burger ca recommend, curry sauce was lovely.

Very comfortable overnight stop
An overnight stay on the way down to Wokingham. Excellent as usual. Modern rooms and very comfortable. The breakfast is awesome.

Ok...ish.....
If we'd have known this was more of a corporate place that would of been ok... as we didn't it made our stay so different... having to drive to.our room was odd and having no.parking apart from.in a building site area and pitch black at night .... no lighting.... To be situated In a court yard that looked like it needed a face lift and the garden was ... well undesired to.say the least ... could be so beautiful... Staff at breakfast were so unfriendly and didn't even say good morning .... Check.out staff didn't ask.how our stay was ?????? The girl on reception was to busy picking food out of her teeth..... 9.30 check out needs to be clear when booking ......
