    We love furry friends and pets are allowed. There is an additional pet fee to help with deep cleaning after each stay with pets. We recommend keeping your pet on a leash when outside the cabin, as wildlife is in the area and we ask guests to help clean after pet waste. Thank you!

We want to stay at Blue Jay's Nest again some time! It was convenient to our favorite breakfast restaurant, Pena's Place, and everything else we were interested in doing.

This rental was suuuper cute and cozy. We rented it for our anniversary and brought our little dog with us. It’s in a really good location and we had no problem finding food or things to do. My favorite part was the fireplace rotating TV nook. The only negative thing I can say is that the floors were visibly really dirty, especially the tile in shower/toilet areas.

We loved the cabin and the location! We brought our pets and the area was very nice to walk them in. My only complaint is how loud the upstairs can be. Any step or movement from the upstairs neighbors would shake the house, which was really bothersome at night. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Nice cabin

The cabin is very nice. It's small but very nice. I appreciated the the ceiling fans in the rooms and the beautiful double sided fireplace. The parking spot is tiny. I drive a Hyundai Palisade and anything longer would be hard to get in there or maybe I parked in the wrong place. We had deer in the yard at night. We would stay here again if in the area.

This was a wonderful stay! I love being in the forest, in the mountains, and this was wonderful. I spent most my time out in the gazebo reading and loved it. We saw some deer and even a fox! The rainy overcast cooler weather was absolutely amazing! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cabin in Ruidoso! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The host was incredible responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a perfect getaway. Communication was seamless, and they made us feel completely welcome and taken care of.The cabin itself was exactly as advertised if not better! Every amenity promised was there and in excellent condition. The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin that made it feel warm and inviting. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.If you’re looking for the perfect mountain retreat in Ruidoso, this is it. We can’t wait to come back and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a five-star experience!

This was our second time staying at the Blue Jay Nest, and we already can’t wait to come back! Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The location is peaceful, the views are incredible, and it’s the perfect place to unwind. Communication with the host was excellent, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Every aspect of our stay was truly 5-star. Thank you for another wonderful weekend—we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The cabin was adorable. Plenty of space for 2 people and their pets. Had everything we needed and was close to everything. Would recommend this place. We might stay again. The listing says queen bed but I’m thinking it was a full. We had a great time!
