Easy to get to, nice room, lovely bathroom, good car park. Lovely breakfast, only issue our name wasn't on the breakfast list and we were questioned by a staff member, she did let us start eating etc and the later confirmed we were on the list, she had an out of date list, this did make us feel uncomfortable and worried about our booking as we knew we had booked the breakfast. Everything else was fine and the man behind the desk was nice and polite. We stayed in this hotel a few years ago and it was the same.

Monies for stay taken 2 days before arrival not as your confirmation said 😡 Hotel said they confirmed this in a email I never received one member of staff apologised said they would sort something for my partners bday which was the reason for the booking nothing happened 😕

Our second stay at this hotel. Lovely setting, large clean rooms and a good restaurant, in the main. Unfortunately on our second evening, which was our wedding anniversary, the service was very poor and the food ordinary. It appeared that there was insufficient staff and the food was very disappointing compared to the previous evening. I must stress that this was just one evening out of about 10 nights we have stayed at the Lakeside. We would certainly stay again.

An ok stay but expected more from 4 star hotel.
I expected more from a 4 star hotel, staff were uninterested and sometimes abrupt and really could not be bothered to offer any help etc. Hotel needs updating as very tired looking.

Stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Had 2 excellent evening meals in the Brasserie. Spa treatments need to be booked in advance. There was no availability for my wife in our stay. However, used the spa pool and hot rooms after a day's long walk (Freshwater Bay well recommended for this) which were excellent.

Terrible Service
Hotel called week of booking to inform me no twin room availability, after booking weeks ago. They informed me all twins sold out to one large party months before, so surely could’ve informed me far sooner and given me more notice to rebook. Result was a cancelled holiday. Thanks Lakeside!

Really excellent.
Very, very good. No complaints about anything.the soundproofing is remarkable...we could not hear anything from the wedding party...excellent chef...the hotel looks brand new tho I was told it is ten years old. Would highly recommend it.

Main resorts and Ferry within easy reach. As regards the facilities on offer, the Spa was first class. Would have appreciated a fridge/ Bar in the Appartment.

Nice hotel, very wedding friendly!
Very pleasant experience from booking to checking out. The staff were all very friendly. We didn't use the pool or spa and I couldn't get an appointment with the beautician for a manicure but that's fair enough, I was asking on the day. The brasserie was very pleasant, breakfast was lovely and the lakeside of the hotel was much prettier than the reception side of the hotel which looks a bit like a hospital. Our rooms were expensive for what they were but we stayed during Cowes week so maybe that explains it, I'm not sure if the rates are less in other weeks.

A relaxing stay in Isle of Wight
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel for a two-night getaway, and overall, it was a good and relaxing experience. The hotel's convenient location, excellent service, and serene ambiance made for a memorable stay. However, I did come across a minor issue with mould near the shower area, which slightly dampened my experience. The service at the hotel was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to my needs. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was providing helpful local recommendations or promptly addressing any concerns, their commitment to excellent customer service was evident throughout my stay. The hotel exuded a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, offering a much-needed escape from the bustling city. The serene surroundings and comfortable amenities helped create a calming ambiance, allowing me to unwind and recharge. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated, offering all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. However, I did encounter a minor issue during my visit. While using the shower, I noticed some mould near the shower area. Although it was not extensive, it was a concern that should be addressed to maintain the overall cleanliness and hygiene standards of the hotel. While it didn't significantly impact my stay, I believe that regular maintenance and thorough inspections would help prevent such issues in the future.
