Relax on the secluded sun trap terrace, swim in your own private heated pool (May to Sept stays), unwind on the sun loungers, barbecue in the garden or on the beach. Plenty of private parking for vehicles and boats on the circular driveway, private and secure with large wrought iron gates. Appley Beach House is a grand three storey Victorian detached residence at Appley Beach, Ryde, an historic seaside town on the beautiful Isle of Wight much loved by Queen Victoria. Stroll under mature oak trees in the lawns straight onto the seafront and safe sandy bathing beaches of Appley - breath-taking in the early morning light and as the sun rises over the beach and sea with spectacular colours.

Relax in spacious high-ceilinged rooms comfortably and stylishly furnished with antiques, four poster and king size beds, big sofas and armchairs, games room with table tennis and pool table, formal dining room with huge antique dining suite, sunny relaxed kitchen-breakfast room overlooking the sheltered flagstone courtyard catching the sun all day with in-ground heated pool (May to Sept stays). Perfect venue

We stayed for a 70th birthday and the house was amazing. Loads of space for everyone. Bedrooms were a great size, the games room was a hit with the children and the outside space was perfect when the sun was shining. Couldn’t fault one bit and would recommend for a big family getaway.

Weekend Away

We had an incredible stay here. We got lucky with the weather but the house was more than big enough for our party of 16. It was clean and tidy with great cooking facilities and the pool was lovely in 30 degrees! The owners were amazing with great communication in the run up to and during the stay and very helpful with check in. I would definitely stay here again and would highly reccomend it.

17 girls stayed in this fab house. Couldn't fault anything. We all had such a great weekend. The communication with the house owner was incredible always responsed to my emails straight away and was VERY helpful. Would definitely recommend this house and we will hopefully be booking again.

Fantastic house for a large group

A large group of us stayed over a bank holiday weekend. The house was brilliant and very spacious. The location was only 10 minutes walk from Ryde hover craft station and a short distance from Ryde centre for evening activities. The host was excellent with communication and check in and check out was very smooth. The house was clean, both inside and out. I would highly recommend.

Great stay for a special party / celebration

We stayed for my wife's 40th celebration where we went to the Isle of Wight Festival, 15 of us stayed and spend the whole of one of the days just around the house, using the pool and spa as well as playing pool downstairs (and watching a bit of Euro's 2016 on TV!). The rooms are lovely and well equipped. The owner is great at communication and also helped us with contacts for ferry and taxi's for the festival trip. We had a wonderful time and created some great memories with our friends. Its located right by the beach in Ryde and there are lots of pubs and restaurants to goto within a short walk. We would definitely use the house again for something like this.

Great family stay in a beautiful property!

We were a family of 16 - 10 adults and 6 kids - celebrating a birthday and we wanted a large house to enjoy for a weekend and decided that the Isle of Wight looked like a lovely location to visit - oh boy were we right!! We were so happy with Appley beach and Ryde as a whole. Appley Beach House is certainly the most beautiful big property we have ever stayed in. We were all very comfortable and the kids enjoyed the games rooms and the swimming pool (we paid for pool heating at that time of year and happened to be lucky with the weather which was an added bonus!!!). We would all certainly recommend Appley Beach House and the Isle of Wight to everyone we know. Thanks again Stephen and rentamanor for making our stay so memorable

Great weekend

13 of us stayed in this house early September. The house was great - so much space and so many bedrooms that most people got their own room. We had a BBQ, played beer pong on the table tennis table and made use of the heated pool. Comms was great with the host who welcomed us on arrival and then left us to have a great weekend. Thanks Stephen and Rebecca.

We had a fantastic weekend for my brother's birthday. 2 minute walk from the beach / parks / pubs, 5 minute drive to a large supermarket. The pool and games room are great for a group of mates having a reunion. Lovely kitchen, lovely bedrooms - most having ensuites. Property Manager Stephen was great as well, helping with ferries and answering various questions. Would happily recommend :)

Brilliant house and location

We stayed as a group of 5 families and loved the spaciousness of the house. Having a games room, pool and hot tub was brilliant and it was so close to the beach. Would definitely stay again

Fun house in a great location

This was our second time renting this house as it’s perfect for our family get together. There’s lots of space for the kids and they enjoyed the games room, hot tub and nice warm swimming pool. The house is homely and you don’t worry about leaving a cushion out of place, unlike some of the rental properties I’ve stayed in. Location is great as the beach is a stones throw away.

Family holiday

Unfortunately we had to call out the cleaners on arrival as all bathrooms on the lower floor were really dirty, which was rather disappointing. She worked so hard for at least 3 hours. The WiFi did not work at all and we were unable to find the hub to ensure it was plugged in. However the pool was lovely and so was the location .After the initial blip, we had a lovely holiday. (It would have been nice to have 2 dishwashers as there were 18 of us )

Ideal family house and location.

We were family group of 15. The space offered by Appley Beach House was ideal, never feeling that we were on top of each other. Younger kids loved the pool and the games room. Adults appreciated the well-fitted kitchen and dining space. Steven and Rebecca very clear and friendly in all communications. Would highly recommend Appley Beach House.

Everything you’d ever need!

This house is completely designed for large family groups or groups of friends. It has a large games room indoors and the pool and hot tub are a wonderful feature. Loads of bedrooms and bathrooms, huge fully equipped kitchen and pubs and restaurants nearby. Cannot fault it.

Great property

We were a party of 8, 4 adults and 4 older children (15-17) and enjoyed a wonderful week at this fantastic house. We were lucky enough to enjoy spectacular weather so were able to enjoy the swimming pool and hot tub to the maximum! Being a couple of minutes walk from the beach also meant that we could pop there at the drop of a hat. The house itself had everything we could ask for and if we had any issues help was only a text away! We were within walking distance of many excellent restaurants, bars, shops and the pier. Also about a 10 minute drive from the ferry terminal at Fishbourne. I would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic property

Stayed for a week with all the family, fantastic property and location. Kitchen well equipped had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend renting this property, communication with owners who we met on the first day was brilliant. Family Celebration

We were a party of six adults and five children. We were very happy indeed with the accommodation in this large and spacious house. Having rooms in a "basement" was brilliant; our daughter's family complete with crying baby were totally out of earshot of the rest of us. The swimming pool and hot-tub were as described and very secure. The beach was very close by. Highly recommended.

This is such a brilliant house! I could not have picked a better place for our family gathering this year on the magical Isle of Wight. Whole group so pleased with everything -- cleanliness, space, views, location, swimming pool, hot tub, kitchen, facilities, and we are certainly looking to come back again soon!!
