The hotel was very nice and the lady that checked me in was very helpful. We were only staying for one night and it looks like an excellent spot to jump on the public transportation. The only downside, which I knew going in, was that the rooms do not have air conditioning.

Close to Christmas markets and good vibe in hotel. Bar is super with attentive staff.
However, fire alarm in room adjacent went off for ages in the night with no communication from staff. Eventually it stopped. We were awoken to inconsiderate neighbours being sick in toilets and singing in showers.
Spa was also a huge let down - most lockers do not work and only one sauna and steam room was available.
Bathroom amenities had not been restocked - empty shower wash and vanity pack.
All in all, a nice hotel but let down by lack of communication, functioning facilities, and inconsiderate guests adjacent.

The Hotel has a great breakfast buffet with a lot of different fruit, cereal, bread and topping. The beds are super comfortable, the towels super soft. I enjoyed the hot shower anD a good night sleep after a day of exploring the historic city of Marburg.
