"This was my 4'th time visiting the French Quarter. I didn't plan on spending much time in my hotel. Because: It's the French Quarter! However, I ended up spending a great deal more time in my hotel than I normally would have, and for all the right reasons. Everyone, from the valet who parked my car, to the receptionist, servers, bartenders, managers - unbelievable level of service. Claire (server in the Roux on Orleans restaurant) was excellent. Ken and Big T from Touchdown Jesus were amazing as well. There was also a bartender at the pool bar who kept me there for a long time because he was so engaging - I regret that I don't remember his name. I own my own bar and have been in the service industry for about 32 years and there's absolutely no one from this hotel that I wouldn't immediately hire on the spot. I hade an amazing experience. Also, I found plenty of time to experience the French Quarter. "

"Great spot and rooms were recently renovated. Cool old hotel with great French Quarter vibes. Peaceful and as quiet as you can get in the French Quarter. Shower had great water pressure and the bed was comfortable. "

"The staff were very helpful with early checkin, and storing our luggage on our last day. They were very attentive and wanted to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. The property is an easy walk to the French Quarter and has multiple bus routes and a streetcar line right in front of the hotel. The room was really large with a desk, couch and had a full size fridge. Small pool and fitness rooms. Excellent breakfast with a huge buffet. Highly recommended."
