"This was a perfect stopover hotel. It was well located, easy to find, quiet, clean and comfortable. There were some restaurants within walking distance and I had my dog with me. They were very welcoming. I would stay here again."

They were more than pleased with everything about their stay and both they and I found the host both charming and helpful in every possible way. They genuinely loved their stay. "For the price €103, it absolutely wasn't worth it. It is situated in the middle of nowhere. You have to arrange your breakfast yourself for the next morning. The only thing you get in the evening before, is a bag with bread and some marmelade. The fridge is hardly filled and you have to make your thea or coffee yourself. Besides the awfull smell in the sleepingroom it is an accomodation far beyond nowadays standards. We thought we had become in a horror movie of the worst kind."

"Very nice and convenient stopover hotel. It may feel slightly tired at first glance, but rooms are practical and clean. Bathroom is small but well designed for the space. Water pressure in the shower is adequate, Front-desk service is excellent and swift; we arrived late in the evening with several suitcases, and we were immediately offered a ground floor room instead of our originally assigned room on a higher floor to accommodate us (without us even asking) which was extremely thoughtful. There is a wide parking area at the front of the hotel (shared with a restaurant next door) and the hotel is close to Bernay town centre which has plenty of food outlets and retail shops. We have rarely seen this level of service for the price of the room and can only encourage other travellers to use it."

"Absolutely stunning property with history, great service, animals, gardens and a relaxing ambience. The lovely manager went out of her way to make our stay the best! The home made food and delicious wine was amazing. We honestly didn't want to leave. You can't go wrong booking this lovely B&B."

"This has become a regular stop for us on the way to Le Mans from Calais. It's perfect for our needs and ideally situated once you've got past Rouen. Easy Parking, good Pizza and Beer in the evening when we turn up, and a reasonable breakfast selection in the morning. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more."
