"My daughter and I booked last minute as we got tickets to the Women's Euro Final. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was great. The room was of a good size, beds were comfortable and our room had a "book nook" which my daughter absolutely loved. Only issue I had was the hotel did not receive any messages we sent via expedia. So there was a minor confusion with the room and the need for parking, which the staff sorted for us. Their frustration with expedia was plain and I wouldn't put this against the hotel. Tip here is to email them directly and not via Expedia. "

"Fantastic Stay – Spacious, Comfortable, and Great Location I absolutely loved my stay at Aparthotel Adagio Access Saint Louis Bâle! The room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable for three people — we never felt cramped at all. The beds (including the sofa bed) were cozy, and we all slept really well throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed to cook simple meals, which was both convenient and budget-friendly. The entire room, including the bathroom, was very clean and well-maintained — it felt fresh and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent. The tram station is just a short walk away, making it super easy to reach Basel and explore the area. There are also shops, bakeries, and restaurants nearby, which made everything even more convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick, and they provided us with all the info we needed for the local transport system. The hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood, so we enjoyed a quiet and relaxing atmosphere at night. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was important for us. Overall, this place really felt like a home away from home. It's perfect for families, couples, or small groups looking for comfort, space, and good value near the Swiss border. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Mercure. After a long drive it was so nice to have a swim in the pool and relax in the jacuzzi and sauna. The bed in my room was so comfy and the room itself was spacious and so quiet. I also loved the blinds to make the room completely dark. The hotel was really easy to find and luckily not far from the motorway so I didn’t have to navigate too far. I also ate in the restaurant and the food was really nice and the service was very good. I would definitely stay here again. "

"I highly recommend that everyone should look beyond the big expensive city of Basel and look into Germany for accommodations. Although this hotel had slightly outdated décor, one can see that this hotel, and it's staff, have a lot of pride in their work place, and they offer great service. My room was spotless, had all the necessities except for air conditioning but thankfully, it was a cool enough night that it wasn't necessary. The hotel offered a plentiful and fresh breakfast buffet that was fit for a king. Everything was wonderful at the Carathotel. I really commend the staff that was very welcoming."
