"We really enjoyed our week at this property. Our boys loved the pool and spent many hours regardless of the weather. The pool table wasn’t quite as they’d hoped as it didn’t sit flat, but they still played a game or two. We didn’t try the bikes as one had a flat tyre. It’s very rural, surrounded by farmers fields including vines. So peaceful, especially at night. The stars were amazing. Host was great, very easy to communicate with. There was a great house guide including lots of places to visit. If you are looking for a week of peace and quiet with a pool, this is the place for you."

"An absolutely first class hotel and a great stay. The staff were exceptional and especially Benjamin who bent over backwards to welcome us and organise all our special requirements for young children etc. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. "

"We stayed for a night. The exterior looks a bit rundown but the apartments are great. Everything works, it’s well equipped and clean. There’s also an elevator which is a major plus. Daily continental breakfast for 11 euros - honestly it’s too expensive for what they serve. You have to bring down your trash upon check out and clean the kitchen if you used it. Overall a nice stay."

"The Villa is beautiful and in a perfect location. The Villa however does require updating and some maintenance work. We did not realise the Villa does not supply any bedding or towels, so this had to be flown in and others by car which was frustrating. It would be nice if the Villa can recommend local shops, eateries and places of interest as nothing is supplied or recommended. WiFi took a few days to be sorted and both patio and pool furniture is in need a of change. Overall, lovely Villa."

"My wife, two kids and myself had a great week in the Medoc region. Thierry and Sylvia were excellent hosts, showing us around the property and giving us tips on where to visit in the region. They were patient with our questions (and our pigeon French!) and always had a friendly smile and advice for us. The accommodation is superb (superb clean, spacious, and as advertised). The pool was amazing - perfectly heated, always spotlessly clean and such a peaceful spot in a very rural location - but 15-20 mins drive from all the main beaches, lakes and towns. We had a great week and even had the honour of Thierry and Sylvia inviting us to a pizza dinner on our last night at the pool bar (which has a log-fired pizza oven). Fabulous!"
