"Very nice Hotel. Staff were all on point. Nice to get a “Meet & Greet” at the entrance. Good location with lovely views. Food was very good although it was a limited menu and we struggled with variety after a few days. Breakfast buffet was also very good. We will be returning. "

"The room was fantastic great sea view and spacious. The spa unfortunately was a disappointment the main issue was no handle rails either into the pool or jacuzzi. The staff were amazing."

"Furzehill is a spacious, well appointed apartment set on the hill between North and South Sands. We loved that once we had arrived and parked the car we didn’t need to use it again as we were within walking distance to everything we wanted: the town, beaches and amazing walks along the coastal path. The apartment was much larger than we had anticipated and tastefully decorated in spite of the size, we were warm and cosy throughout. We particularly enjoyed the constantly changing views as we sat in the living room. Having initially considered staying in town, we were all really pleased that we chose Furzehill instead, for us it gave us the best of everything we wanted for our short break. When we encountered a problem and had to contact the office, it would have been more helpful to have received a quick call from Finest Retreats rather than a message via email which was picked up late in the day when it was too late to respond to."

"The apartment is well appointed and Penny, the owner, very helpful. It has one of the best views in the building with two balconies facing the estuary and coast. The location is excellent with two hotel restaurants, a spa, coffee shop, and a short ferry ride to Salcombe nearby. A National Trust property begins next door offering plentiful footpaths along the coast or fields of wildflowers. "
