"We were 7 blokes on a cycling tour along the Algarve. We started in Sagress and this was our first night accomodation. The rooms were excellent, the staff friendly and accommodating. There were facilities for cleaning and storing our bikes. Excellent value for money, good breakfast included. 👍"

"My review is difficult as we arrived to be told that a computer malfunction meant that our 2 rooms were occupied. We agreed to move to another hostel, it was good. They should have notified us before. Also payment has been taken out and paid back 4 times now, incurringinternational currency charges each time. I have requested an explanation, but no answer so far. They need to work on their communication."

"Had an amazing stay at the hostel. Staff was super friendly and helpful, the place is in great condition and has a beautiful yard with a swimming pool, orange trees and a volleyball field. Nice big kitchen, the hostel also offers a great breakfast and dinner. Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, thanks a lot!!"

"HI Lagos - Pousada de Juventude is a five-minute walk away from the old center of Lagos. Staff is super helpful with great recommendations for restaurants and activities to do in town. The hostel is very clean. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was simple but very good. There are lots of other options in town but most will be more expensive."

"Great room, great location, easy to walk everywhere. It was advertised as parking on site. There is no parking. Almost impossible to find in the streets. I had to pay to use a parking garage. Other than that it was great. "

"Everything went well as far as hostels go, but if you want a good night’s sleep on a weekend, the area around here is so loud with partiers on the street coming out of bars. I slept maybe 2 hours due to the noise. I only stayed one night, thankfully. I wish I had booked elsewhere. "
