We stayed in the suite,no 25, top floor. Very, spacious, beautifully furnished, newly decorated, absolutely spotless, so quiet and huge comfortable bed. Loved the complimentary wine and coffee machine. Vanesss was very helpful and efficient. Room was replenished and refreshed every day.
The room was a perfect size for our family visit. The staff were very welcoming. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant; the starters were wonderful but the main meals were poor. The pork belly was far too fatty and the southern fried chicken burger was over cooked.
Everywhere was clean and fresh. Lots of little extras like a coffee machine with a generous supply of pods, usb points by the bed, plenty of fluffy towels. The only negative was parking - we booked it but couldn’t access it until the 2 o’clock check in. Most hotels let you park early if there are spaces.
Qudos has a lovely renovated interior with high ceilings and excellent service from staff. Little loud on a Friday night but simply because it’s a central location. They do have double pane windows to block out the noise… we just had to crack one to get some air in at night! Would stay here again!
Very smooth stay. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast at very reasonable price. Great location within walking distance of all city amenities and places of interest.
Overall we had an excellent stay. Everything was spot on. Bit more detail to the paintwork would be great. The only downside was the view from the window overlooked the extractors from the kitchen and quite noisy only rooftops were visible which was a shame. Couldnt fault the breakfast ..excellent.
Great location, professional and friendly staff, comfy bed and excellent shower. Small negative - only a coffee machine and no kettle. Hot water through coffee machine does not make good tea. Be aware there is no lift. Be also aware their Sunday carvery is the best.
This is an unexpected gem of a property above a pub in the centre of Salisbury. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped, with a number of quaint touches. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended.
The hotel was in an excellent location, but parking was an issue. Luckily a member of staff jumped in the car and showed us where to park.
We were astonished to find that our room was at the very top of several flights of stairs. Fortunately a very nice waitress carried some of our luggage upstairs for us.
The room was lovely and was actually a suite. However the coffee pot did not work and the young man who came to look had no idea how to work it.
However, he did manage to get the tv in the sitting room working.
Unfortunately I had made an error in the booking and we had to change rooms. The cleaner was extremely nice and helpful and moved our luggage to No 26. We were shocked to find that this room, although only half the size, was the same price as No 25 with two rooms. When we asked we learnt that on Saturday the price jumps from 118 pounds to 153 pounds. An enormous jump.
Better shower in 26 but one of the beside table lamps needed a new bulb.
We were there in mid-November, so I dread to think what the prices would be like in summer.
The Hotels.com website is very misleading and doesn't show what the final price would be.
Good dinner the first night and good breakfasts, again with lovely staff to serve us.
Qudos is a very nice choice of hotel for a stay in Salisbury. Central location within easy walking distance of the cathedral, nice room and an excellent bar-restaurant.
Quaint little hotel situated inside a public house. The staff were very friendly and our room was good. The only downside is the hotel is situated on a main road so it is somewhat difficult to drop off bags before you get a ticket. We hadn’t booked parking but luckily they had space for us in their car park (£7.50) which is a 5 min walk away.
Although the weather was very hot we had a fan in our room. Breakfast was excellent. Location was fantastic and the staff were amazing and very helpful.
The staff made us feel so welcome! The room was neat and clean. The bar downstairs was nice for a drink and the hotel was close to good restaurants and shopping. Great place!
The hotel is within 10 minutes walking distance from the train station. When returning from old Sarum with the public RED buses, the bus stop is just outside the hotel.
The family room is clean with comfortable beds. The double bed, however, is not Queen size. There are generous free coffee and tea sachets and milk as well as water bottles in the room.
The staff is friendly. There is no left luggage storage room but the staff put our 2 pieces of luggage behind their 'desk' in the bar.
There is a Tesco supermarket which closes at midnite in the weekdays opposite the hotel. And numerous restaurants and pubs nearby.
