Wonderful Stay
A perfect stay for me while visiting the area for three days. Clean, comfortable, quiet with parking on site, and a yummy and healthy breakfast. Will ABSOLUTELY stay here again when I am back in Salisbury. Really a gem of a private little B&B.

A great alterative to a quality hotel. Spotless and extremely comfortable accomodation with all needs catered for. Breakfast was delicious. Our hosts were friendly, interesting and informative. We wouldn't hesitate to book again if visiting the area and have no hesitation in recommending the Room in the Garden.

Secret hideaway
This is a lovely tucked away setting. We were able to leave the car parked and walk into Salisbury. The hosts were lovely and welcoming.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Room in the Garden on a recent trip to Salisbury with my Mother and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Janine and Mark were excellent hosts, making sure that every aspect of our stay was comfortable. The room itself was incredibly cozy and modern, with all the amenities we could have asked for. The cleanliness of the space was particularly impressive; everything was spotless and well-maintained. Overall, I cannot recommend The Room in the Garden highly enough. If you're looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay with wonderful hosts, this is the place for you. Thank you Janine and Mark for a wonderful experience!

Very comfortable property, all aspects including bedding and toiletries clearly very high quality. Well located for our needs and the off street parking was also very useful. Hosts friendly and accommodating.

Great stay
The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was excellent and breakfast was perfect for us. The room was in a very pretty and quiet setting. Location was very convenient for access to the city. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return.

We had had an excellent stay here. Janine and Mark were excellent hosts. The room was nicely decorated and in great shape. It is about a 30 minute walk to the historic area of Salisbury. I would highly recommend staying here.

The accommodation is first rate with quality fixtures and fittings. Bed very comfy. The patio area was very welcome during the heat wave that occurred during our stay, giving lots of shade. The best feature was the hosts who looked after our every need and always had a pot of tea available upon our return from our travels.

An oasis of calm and comfort
The room in the garden is spotlessly clean. The bedding is luxurious and the provision of expensive toiletries generous. We loved the garden location and outdoor furniture. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us helpful information about the area.

A memorable and highly recommended option!
Room was wonderful - warm and beautifully furnished. Bed superbly comfortable and very spacious. Bathroom luxurious (though note there is a no bath - just a top-class power shower). The location is excellent if you enjoy walking (about ~25 minute flat walk to city centre), otherwise you'll either have to use the optional bicycles or pay for some form of transport. Personally, we enjoyed the opportunity to get plenty of walking in around the scenic Salisbury city centre and surrounding countryside and the walk back to the room after a nice dinner was a good way of winding down, and allows you to take in the stunning cathedral illuminated at night. Highly recommended if you fancy staying somewhere a little different to the usual chain hotels! Friendly and accommodating hosts. All in all, excellent!

We stayed there for 2 nights as we had a wedding nearby in Hale Park. Everything was really to a high standard and Janine and Mark made our stay very welcome. The shower was luxury and the bed very comfy but such a shame we could not sit outside in the patio area as it rained in the mornings but did not dampen our days. The area was really quiet to stay in and the breakfast was great too. Highly recommended.

A fantastic place to stay.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The accommodation was of a very high standard with many extra luxury items to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The super king sized bed was so comfy with fresh, crisp bedding. We had a hairdryer and a supply of tea and coffee. The modern bathroom had a wonderful shower. The Room is exactly what it says it is, in the Garden of the home of Janine and Mark, but we had our own large patio area and our own privacy. We had breakfast each morning in the kitchen of their home. Janine provided a selection of cereals, pastries, home made yoghurt and fruit along with tea, coffee and juice. She offered flexibility on the time of breakfast, depending on our plans for the day. We looked forward to chatting to Janine each morning as she shared her local knowledge with us. She was able to advise us about where to visit and the best places to eat. From their home it was probably about a 30 min easy walk into Salisbury. The city has a lot to offer and we enjoyed exploring it. We were made very welcome by Janine and Mark and we would certainly stay again.

Amazing
We were met by the owner who was very polite and friendly offering coffee on arrival. The room was amazing very clean and had a modern spacious bathroom. There is an outside seating area which is part covered by a gazebo with lighting offering the best of both worlds for the British weather. We highly recommend this property for a pleasant and relaxing stay, with owners who went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable 10/10.

Wow! where to begin..we arrived early(!!) but Janine was more than accommodating ...The room was perfect from the beds to the bathroom & all the great toiletries and coffee..all the way through the stay Mark & Janine were great hosts...nothing was too much trouble ..great breakfast too! Perfect.

Thoroughly recommended.
Janine and Mark are wonderful hosts. The location is in a quiet private location just over a one mile walk to Salisbury Cathedral and the center of Salisbury. The room is clean, comfortable and has a lovely covered outside seating area. I can thoroughly recommend.

The was a real find, a lovely room in a garden, quiet, easy to find yet only a short walk from the city centre. Local knowledge and the loan of a couple of bikes from the friendly hosts Janine and Mark made our 2 day stay so interesting and hassle free. Would definitely recommend.

LUXURY STAY
The room in the Garden does not do this justice! The accommodation was superb - more like "The Luxury Apartment in the Garden"! The quiet setting, the ease of access, the quality finish and all the luxurious products and furnishings made this a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The setting, with bi-fold doors, overlooking the beautifully tended garden and with its outside seating area only added to the experience! Our hosts, Janine and Mark were charming and made us feel most welcome. We could thoroughly recommend this to anybody wishing for quiet, luxurious accommodation a few minutes drive from central Salisbury.
