I like the rooms and the staff. I like the layout of the hotel inside. And the restaurant and bar. It is descent walking distance but at the 2nd time I stayed they were doing somr construction around that area. Tai 101 was a good place to have fresh spring rolls. The rooms are spacious and updated. I will stay there again

This is our favorite place to stay in SLC! It has been completely renovated has a wonderful staff and is in a convenient, safe location!

Great rooms and facilities. If there was one drawback it was that my room did not receive service a couple of days until the evening like 4:30 and after 5:30. The areas around the property were a little sketchy in some directions.

We book a room 5 months in advance. We requested 2 beds. When we arrived, our room was not ready. When we came back later that evening, they gave away our room. They could only give a room with a king size bed. They are assuming people checking in are married or don't mind sleeping with another person in the same bed. This is the second time this happened at Double Tree.

Room is good. Location is good. The service isn't. I booked the hotel solely for the hot tub and pool. This was a Valentine's gift to my wife. There was NOTHING online that suggested they were closed because of renovation. I found out at check-in that they aren't open. I asked for a partial refund but they only offered to cancel the reservation which means I'd have to look for another hotel on the spot. How many customers booked rooms and found out they're closed? So frustrated.

Only thing was the construction inside early I could hear the banging and drills so I couldn’t sleep in paying over two hundred I thought was a lot for all the noise that morning!

I was On the 6th floor and while trying to sleep, I could hear every vehicle at the stop light on the street. I could Hear music from another room but it stopped. There was very minimal lighting in the parking garage. Also not conducive for bringing heavy luggage in from your vehicle since there are stairs. Not worth the price I paid.

The room is nice because it’s fully remodeled but they’re in the middle of remodeling the rest of the hotel. Once it’s done I’m sure it’ll be awesome. However, the staff were always super friendly and nice and treated me very well. I’m happy I stayed here.

Our stay was amazing, even though the entire hotel was going through a complete renovation & remodeling process. Rick & Maxine made sure we enjoyed every aspect of our stay and made us feel at home. Very clean hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

They were in the middle of renovating with no amenities available for a family. They said they had a restaurant which turned out to be a makeshift bar only. Worst stay.

I was never told until I arrived at the property that building was under construction. The noise of the construction was unbearable all day long and the pool was closed. Also, there was a dog in the room next to mine that barked.......... a lot. In addition, the lotion container was empty and so was the body soap container. Really very substandard. I won't stay there again. There are far too many other hotels to choose from.

The building was undergoing renovations. There were a lot of construction workers and noise. The workers were very nice and the staff was extremely apologetic about the chaos. Even with the work I would gladly stay here again.
