Property is old and the area very cramped and busy. However staff were friendly and hard working. They should say that they have coffee and muffins not breakfast. The room was clean and quiet. Theres a path on the back of the building that you can take to Sugarhouse Park which was great. So you get what you pay for here.

We stayed here for a night to attend a University of Utah tour for my daughter. The location was very convenient and close to the university, restaurants and shopping, the airport, and downtown Salt Lake City. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and large. The “breakfast” was pretty sparse with muffins, coffee/tea, and granola bars. Also, the front desk staff did not have any information on the off-site fitness room access even though it is advertised on the website. Lastly, the property seems to attract sketchy residents. My family agreed that it would have been worth it to spend a little bit more for a nicer hotel.

Checked in. Went to room and as usual checked the bed quick. There was bloody stab marks from syringes in the mattress. There was a sign at the front desk about a bunch of bugs that are at the property just claiming they’re harmless. I think there should be a pest service at that point to eradicate the issue rather than posting saying there’s harmless bugs in the rooms and hotel. Needless to say, instantly checked out at the front desk. Luckily the staff member to help us was super easy and quick to help so we were able to change hotels.

Definitely nicer than other Extended Stay America locations I have tried. Room was clean and comfortable. Huge TV. Property was fairly quiet and very conveniently located in a nice area with a lot of shopping and restaurants. Easy access to streetcar as well. I also used the laundry room and found it exceptionally clean--great machines.
