Clean, comfortable large rooms. Great location right off I15 in middle of Salt Lake City. It also has great dining options but the best is El Calor Taqueria on redwood rd., for the best authentic Mexican food!!

Extended stay America in West Valley City is pretty decent. Place to stay The staff is amazing and polite and very helpful. The rooms are really nice. They have a kitchen, fridge stove so you can cook your family, food or yourself.

It was great for the price. There were a few live roaches that we killed, but they didn't bother us the rest of the night nor did we see them. The staff was very friendly, amenable, and it was quiet and clean otherwise.

I live here about a month or two or more and I would recommend it to my colleagues and friends if they ever come to Utah. Good, kind and professional staff. Also, rooms are good not the best but it's good.. clean and well set.. quiet and also close to grocery store and Oriental store.

It's a bare bones kind of hotel. They have mini kitchens in every room, but there's no pots or pans or are utensils or cups or anything, But at least the bed was comfortable and the water was hot.

Not the kind of traffic I like

The staff are extra nice. The room was a regular room, clean though very clean old school you have to have a key to go in and out the building and you have to go in and out the front door. There’s no other options which is kind of bizarre. I guess I found out it’s a bad area so they have it like that so I guess it’s a safety concern. I didn’t like that part but besides that I would give it a five out of 10.

Good stay will be back

Our stay was for work. Have a kitchen and a full sized frig is great. Able to cook meals is a money saver. Fast food all the time gets old really quick. The only thing I could ask for is a bigger TV I'm a little older andy eyes are not the best.

Good for a place to sleep.

The room was clean, but had a musty smell. The staff was kind and very helpful. The bed was just okay. The biggest problem I had was the people hanging out by the door smoking, there was only one entrance and as we were coming in from our event, some men were outside smoking and started yelling profanity at us.

Just Don’t

I checked in because nobody else had rooms at this price point. The rooms have all of the amenities as advertised. What they don’t tell you is that the rooms are sticky, smell of cigarettes despite the hotel being smoking free. They didn’t change the sheets on one of the beds. This contributed to the smell along with the pubic hairs All over the place. The bathroom wasn’t clean. The shower had a layer of grime and filth. The mold and rust were an interesting interior design choice. The stove was left on in my room prior to me checking in. The noise was extreme. Couples fighting in the hallway at 11:45 at night was something I hadn’t had for a few years, so thanks for helping me remember life in a poorer neighborhood. My first night there, there was a fire alarm at 8:30 as someone burnt their tortillas and then opened their door. None of this would have mattered if I got a better room. When I asked for one, I was told the smoke smell was another tenant 2 doors down. I was told the sheets get washed. In the 3 nights I was there, my sheets were never changed.

While the staff were courteous and helpful, the overall condition of the property was very disappointing. The facility felt poorly maintained, and charging extra for Wi-Fi only added to the frustration. Additionally, the environment did not feel safe or appropriate for a business traveler; there was even a SWAT team raid on the property during my stay. Significant improvements are needed before I would consider staying here again or recommending it to others Hope this review will help others while booking a trip here in SLC.

Yikes!

Yikes! Several flights were canceled including mine, so hundreds of people were stuck in SLC. All hotels were sold out except this one, and there's a reason why. This is one of those slummy motels you see in the movies. Even after taking a shower, I felt like I needed a shower.
