"Property was clean, the room was decent and staff was friendly. My only dislike was the construction going on at the aquarium next door, the machines were a little obnoxious. The resort was mostly empty. So i think even though i booked via expedia( i’ve realized booking via expedia my rooms are always at the end of the hallway/building), our room could've been away from construction noise. The pool was nice and so was the hot tub. Breakfast was decent at the resort restaurant, portions were on the smaller side. The beach on the property was small, the water was beautiful and so were the views. Overall i’d give the property a 3.5/5. I would stay again if I was with a bigger group."

"The apartment is close to supermarkets, restaurants and had all the amenities we needed. It is about 20 minutes walk from the salt pans where you can see flamingos. The host was welcoming and very helpful. Also there were two cute friendly kittens that we encountered. Additionally, Monique, the host's wife, offers a private tour of the island. She is extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the island and knows the best beaches. Overall we had a great stay at the apartment."

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans la Villa familiale équipée de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par la très dévouée Loeki. Elle nous a bien orienté et conseillé pour nos visites. Ses déjeuners sont variés, copieux et délicieux. Merci encore pour tout Loeki! Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour!"

"The place was very spacious and my young ones had a blast running around the fort. The pool was so relaxing. Our hosts, dogs included, were excellent — my kids loved petting them! Just a heads up: there was quite a bit of dog hair on the porch and some made its way into the house."

"My stay at the Green Turtle Lodge exceeded my expectations. The host, Willem, was very responsive via WhatsApp, always quick to answer any questions. During check in he offered great suggestions on places to visit, which really helped us make the most of our time on the island. The apartment truly felt like a home away from home. As a family traveling with two teenagers, I especially appreciated having the ability to prepare our own meals and do laundry. These conveniences made our stay much more comfortable and also helped us save money. The accommodation was conveniently located, with Jan Thiel Beach about 10 minutes away and Mambo Beach also within easy reach. There was a small minimart less than five minutes away, which was very convenient for picking up essentials. I would definitely recommend renting a car to get the most out of the island and explore all that the island has to offer. Overall, we had a great stay at Green Turtle Lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. One thing to be aware of is that electricity is included up to 15 kWh per day, with an additional charge for usage above that. It’s something to keep in mind when planning your budget, especially when traveling with a family."

"Our stay at Jain Theil Curaçao was mixed. The property matched the listing, was clean, and the gated community felt secure. However, several issues impacted our comfort. There was no toilet paper or starter essentials like paper towels or toiletries provided. After a long trip, even basic supplies would have been appreciated. Washcloths and beach towels were not initially available, though the manager brought towels later. Someone entered the property unannounced the day before departure, which was unsettling. Kitchen appliances were difficult to use due to a lack of instructions, and the dishwasher leaked. Trash disposal instructions were unclear, and bins outside were overflowing. There was no air conditioning in the main living area, and laundry had to be air-dried, which was inconvenient. The fitness center advertised was under construction and unavailable, which was disappointing since it influenced our booking decisionGate access required a key fob, making it inconvenient for guests and deliveries. A keypad or intercom would be helpful. Overall, while the home is attractive and secure, the lack of basic amenities, communication, and convenience features made our stay less comfortable than expected."

"We had such an amazing stay here and can’t recommend it enough. As experienced travelers, we’ve stayed in many properties, and this one truly stands out. The property had everything we needed and more—little touches like a cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels made our beach days so easy and enjoyable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, which made it feel like a true home away from home.The location was perfect—peaceful and far enough from the noise to relax, but still close enough to get to all the action within minutes. Being in a gated area made us feel very safe throughout our stay. The owner lives next door, but completely respected our privacy and kept to themselves.One of the highlights was definitely the private pool. It was such a great addition and always warm in the evenings, making it perfect for relaxing after a day out. The outdoor space in general was incredibly romantic—so much so that we actually got engaged there, which made the trip even more special.There’s also a supermarket less than 10 minutes away, which was super convenient. I loved using the outdoor shower every day—it really added to the whole experience. The bed was very comfortable, and it was nice and quiet at night, making it easy to get great sleep.Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely recommend it and are already hoping to come back for our anniversary."
