Excelente relação custo beneficio.

Excelente localização, recepção simpaticíssima, café da manhã memorável ( o melhor café que tomei em dias na estrada) Decepcionou só o fato de ter que deixar o carro na rua e o pagamento ter que ser em dinheiro ( apesar que pude transferir o dinheiro para a conta do hotel). O quarto não é um 5 estrelas mas pelo custo está muito bom e limpo. Recomendo a quem for a Salvador sim.

Me sentí muy a gusto

Pousada está ubicado excelente lugar, sus empleados y dueña tiene muy buen compromiso y asesoramiento de los lugares como son como ir, instalaciones muy acordé buena limpieza muy seguro excelente desayuno que varía algunos platos todos los días, en resumen me sentí agusto.

Quando chegamos ao hotel, nossa reserva não foi encontrada, mas rapidamente fomos alojados. Na descrição do Hotel consta que tem estacionamento com vagaS limitadaS, mas quando chegamos tinha apenas um carro na garagem e não tinha espaço para mais um. Quanto ao atendimento, Ok; bom café da manhã. Enfim, se estiver procurando boa localização, com segurança e sem luxo, a um custo baixo, o hotel atende bem.

great location near beach

Salvador is fascinating city, especially Pelourinho district with multi-coloured colonial houses and pebbled streets. Lots of beaches nearby, . Barra shopping mall great for snacks and shopping. Definitely worth visiting church Igreja e convento de S. Francisco known for its gold decor. Also worth visiting Maritime Museum at Forte da Barra (lighthouse) and watch the sunset from the lighthouse banks. Handicrafts of all kinds can be bought at Mercado Modelo.

Charming, pleasant and conveniently located!

I enjoyed my stay at Pousada Acacia. I would stay there again and recommend it to others. I was in Salvador for a three-week residency, and the accommodations were perfect for this. The staff is friendly and helpful with directions (if needed), especially Denise (the owner) and managers Yvonne (E-voh-neh) and Graca (Gra-sah) who are frequently there. Breakfast is plentiful, gorgeous, healthy, and catered to diets that are vegetarian or omnivorous--the fruit is the best and the eggs really fresh. The place is very clean and well-kept. It's a very short walk to several nearby beaches and bus routes into Salvador or to the further Costa Verde beaches. Located in Barra, it's a great place to stay to experience Salvador -- about 1.5 miles from Campo Grande, and a bit further to the heart of the Pelorinho. Depending on how hearty you are it's a nice walk, by day -- but be prepared for the big ladeira (hill) that you'd have to climb to get there/downhill all the way back. Taxis are inexpensive and plentiful. In a taxi, you're "in town" in 10-15 minutes. There are also shops, boutiques, street vendors and plenty of beach culture nearby, without leaving Barra. It feels like a neighborhood on the rise. Having some Brazilian Portuguese is a plus but not necessary. Highly recommended.
