"The location was beautiful. The beach was very close - just over a dune. The house was nicely decorated and modern on the inside. The outdoor decks, furniture, and hot tub were exceptional. It was great to find a pet-friendly house too. "

"Hey everyone, we had a fantastic time in Salvo. I’m not here to compare real estate, but the house, although a bit dated and in need of a few minor fixes, was overall fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped, the rooms were clean, and the hot tub was great. It was conveniently located between a couple of beach access points, making it an excellent value for the price. No complaints at all. I highly recommend checking this place out.Additionally, I spoke with the caretaker about the older reviews regarding the mattress covers and the non-functioning A/C. Those issues had all been resolved—the A/C was ice cold, and the beds were fine. We saved a lot of money by cooking dinners and breakfasts. Finally, the WiFi was flawless and parking was a breeze! "

"Great house and location. We enjoyed the views and the pool was perfect. Loved the walk to the beach. The area was great and perfect for just relaxing. The people in the area were very friendly too. If you want to go to the Outer Banks and don’t want all the busyness, this area is perfect. "

"We had trouble with the heated pool, which we paid an extra 500 for. We messaged them on Monday and never recieved communication until Friday. Also we couldn't use the TV by the hot tub since it was on a different wifi which we did not get the password to. There were 2 broken faucets and the grill was disgusting and onky 2 burners worked..we communicatec thos all through email and never got a response."
