The manager was very helpful and our problem was solved fairly swiftly. We ended up staying in a villa next to the swimming pool.And that was amazing views. "The restaurant that is highly lauded in some reviews did not exist. Once there, the owner’s son tells me that they close the restaurant during the slow season….which was NOT disclosed when I booked. It’s in a very secluded area but a drive to restaurants about 15 mins away. There’s a restaurant next door, but the opening time depends on their mood, one day was 10am and next day was 11am. They were both weekdays. They don’t clean the rooms so I had to walk to front desk for new towels and water....

"The place has a 5 star rating, but it feels like a 1 star. The towels were musty. The bed felt like a massage table...it was really hard. The curtains had stains. The shower was dirty and had hair strands by the shampoo pump. They only had shampoo, shower gel and water. No other amenities. The attendant didn’t offer to carry my bag and he almost didn’t bring me to my room. The pool was clean and they have mosquito repellant to plug in. I would have rated it higher if it had been listed as a 1...
