"The most amazing view. We spent a lot of time just at the hotel because of the gorgeous view. You can also use the kayaks free of charge. Very close to the boat deck and very kind and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast was also included with our reservation. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was delicious"

"The gardens and views as well as restaurants and cafes are excellent! The service is very good. The rooms are basic and need some updating. The doors are hard to close with a key. The comforters are outdated and need to be replaced. The towels barely dry, so thin and old. If you are expecting luxury this is not the place. If you are looking for location. Views, food, clean accommodations and service this is your place!"

"The lovely Hotel Villa Santa Catarina is Guatemalan-owned. Beautiful two pools, great view of the lake, and a short tuk-tuk ride to Panajachel. The restaurant on site is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Room was spacious - no A/C, but not a problem with the cool lake breeze at night."
