Great hotel, prime location walking distance to everything! Great price for a suite, would definitely stay again!

Hotel stay was excellent! Room was great! Super clean! Our only issue was was parking. When we first booked our hotel back in May, parking was listed as $40/ day. At check-in, we were told parking had increased to $58. I asked for the original pricing to be honored which it was however, the staff checking us in appeared bothered and annoyed. I certainly was taken back from the abruptness and rude demeanor of the clerk after asking for an adjustment. After a brief conversation, I was advised the charge would be adjusted. I certainly did not have an issue with the parking itself. The parking staff were quite helpful and it is understandable the parking lot was full & it would be tandem parking as we were close to downtown. My biggest issue was at checkout when I noticed my bill and was charged for the increased parking price $58/day! When I brought it up to the staff at checkout, she apologized however, said she could not adjust as there were no notes regarding the change. We have no complaints about the room or the area. We think it’s beautiful but perhaps be a bit more transparent with the parking. And train your staff to be more hospitable ;)

The worst check in and check out process I’ve ever experience. I was told multiple times to come back and my room would be ready but was not. I wasted time waiting around to check in. If they would have been up front with me in the first place I would have went exploded instead of sticking around. I was not the only person in this situation but I believe others had it worse. People were in the lobby with suitcases open trying to get ready for their event. I understand they were booked so it had taken extra time to clean all the rooms but for the price people pay to stay there, you would think planning ahead in those situations with more staff would be a reasonable ask. The stay went fine after all of that but at check out I was told to “hold on” by the front desk clerk in the middle of talking so she could call someone on her cell. I let her do her thing and was just brushed off and told they have my card so they will just charge it. It would have taken a minute to just finish with me and proceed on what she needed to do. I would like to mentions that the maintenance guy that came to fix out tv was the only pleasant and prompt staff I came in contact with my whole stay. First and last time I will stay at a margaritaville.

It is an amazing property set in the beautiful paradise that is Coronado Island. The Del is definitely top notch. Everything from the amenities, to the room, to the ever-helpful staff make the experience one that stands above the rest. We would like to especially recognize Lizze at reception and Vanessa, host of the Ghost Tour, for the passion they show forth in making the guests feel welcome and engaged. Absolutely the best resort vacation we have taken, hands down. We can't wait to stay at the Del again!
