We loved our stay at the Pal Mar. The location is perfect, close enough to walk to the beach and the Main Street in town. I reserved the suite and it was spacious (the bedroom was, the bathroom is tiny) and decorated so lovely. The kitchenette was fully stocked and you could easily prepare your own meals there if desired. The staff was amazing and so polite and helpful. We used their foldable beach chairs every day and saved some money from having to rent the chairs already on the beach. The bed was comfortable, ceiling fans and AC worked well and we loved our little patio area. Even the little wooden box that held our room
Key was charming. It really was a beautiful little boutique hotel.
Cons: Noisy. Our room was located right at the entrance to the hotel along the street so we heard every conversation of other guests as the came and went as well as the cars and bar music. The neighborhood roosters will keep you up all night but we used a white noise app on our phone and that helped drown them (and all of the other noise) out. I think the rooms towards the back would be much quieter than ours was. Also, there are no televisions in the rooms (just FYI - not a big deal but thought I’d mention it so you’d know).
We would definitely stay here again but would suggest a room towards the back of the property next time.
