"Inside was fairly clean. The outside could use a power spray cleaning at least every week from the smell of urine. Luggage Staff was extremely helpful. Check-in Staff that helped me could be more friendly to encourage customers to come back. Overall stay was okay to good."

"The manager was gracious and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable bedding. Had a partial view of the bay, highly recommended. Easy to get a cab right in front of our hotel. Tons of walkable restaurants nearby."

"Dated , dirty , focused on monetization and not on guest experience. But this may be the trend in union square, all these places are old and maintained enough to keep going. I think for more luxurious , guest oriented experience , there are other areas of San Francisco , but are pricier as expected. ..."

"Great location to tourist attractions. The room itself was blah. It is an older hotel that’s been renovated by slapping an extra coat of paint on everything. Our room was in a very dark ominous hallway. It smelled musty and like stale cigarettes. Someone was always smoking pot and the smell lingered. ..."
