"Didn’t have a Mountain View but it was quiet. Room was clean but very dated. There were some things that could have been fixed, i.e, broken toilet handle, counter by sink was missing a piece in front, previous occupant had disconnected tv cable, smoke detector was on bathroom window sill, and there was NO hot water. "

"We enjoyed our short stay! It’s a very dog friendly property and I wish our border collie could have joined us on this trip — he would have loved the fenced yard. The neighborhood was quiet and the views were nice. Enjoyed wandering and hiking in Idyllwild. We even met mayor Max! "

They showed us around the place, informed us about the breakfast deal for the next morning and gave us a great restaurant recommendation for dinner just a couple of steps away from the Lodge. The location, layout of the house, and amenities are exactly as described on the site. The house and surrounding land was clean and well maintained. Although the driveway is steep, it was easy to navigate; definitely recommend turning around at the top so as to make the departure easier. I appreciated the prompt response by the property manager about check in, check out, and the one time we had to call (we asked to have the trash removed as we filled the outside garbage cans before our check out date.) The town of Idyllwild itself was fantastic; there’s a lot to do in the immediate neighborhood of the house, including hiking, shopping, fishing on Hemet Lake, enjoying the delicious restaurants (Atomic Cow and Idyllwild Pizza were our faves), and pottery painting at Earth Fire. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing vacation with extended family. Highly recommend!"

"We loved everything about our stay. The home is perfectly located near town and close to hiking and nature. The kitchen had everything we needed, and everything was clean and comfortable. The outdoor space is absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing - we never even turned the TVs on. The owner communicated with us consistently and was very helpful with finding local restaurants and activities. We highly recommend staying here!"

The deck is amazing and this home is tucked on a quiet street, a short walk into town. Would definitely stay here again!"
