Family vacation for 6 weeks
We loved the location of this property. We moved out of the country a year ago and wanted to come spend some time with friends and family in our old neighborhood.
The rooms and kitchen were clean when we checked in although there was trash still in the guest bathroom. We had an ant infestation our first day but the owner called someone to come out and spray and we never had another problem with ants.
The kitchen pots and pans were not well cleaned. The kitchen cupboards were also filled with old spices and stuff that should be tossed. They needed a good cleaning The stove and microwave were very clean and good. Not a lot of kitchen supplies.
The air conditioner wasn’t working well when we were there. There was a heat wave and the owner did call someone to come out but they no showed 2 times and it was me who had to wait for them. The third time they finally came and decided the unit and furnace needed to be replaced. It was going to take the day to do. I had already spent quite a bit of my time dealing with service people. I told the owner he needed to come and stay at the house while it was being replaced since we had appointed and plans. The owner did come and stay so that was great.
Only 1 of the 3 rooms had a dresser so that was not what I expected. I was unable to unpack and had to live out of my suitcases for 6 weeks. Not ideal.
There were also very few cleaning supplies. The price was much better than other places though.
