"Our stay was fantastic. The room was genuinely luxurious with marble fittings everywhere. The staff were brilliant and really knew what to recommend. The breakfast was good but rather crowded on the day we were there."

"The hotel was immaculate, the staff on the front desk were fantastic and the breakfast was one of the best I've had. I had chosen the hotel based on the terrace, and really wanted to have a drink watching the sunset. I emailed in advance to see if I needed to make a reservation for this, and was told no. When we went up, we were told the seats we wanted were for dining guests, and the seats we were offered were near the door without a view. We left and went elsewhere- we still had a great time, and love the city, but were disappointed nonetheless. If we'd known, we would have stayed elsewhere."

"This is the third time I have stayed at Belvedere. My guests and I love it so much. The location is perfect, the view unbelievable and the facilities excellent. Since the last time I visited, the hosts have installed air conditioning, which (since we visited at the hottest time of year) improved things still further.The inside accommodation is spacious: three generous bedrooms, a large living-room area, and charming kitchen. Outside, there is a terrace with spectacular views, a couple of sun-loungers, and much-needed washing facilities. Even writing this makes me wish I were still there.There are so many places to explore nearby. There are some obvious 'targets', such as Siena itself, San Gimignano and Firenze. But so many other beautiful places too: Monteriggioni, the beautiful village of Torri, Montalcino, Arrezzo ... the list is almost endless.This year, I had the pleasure of meeting Carola and Adam, our hosts, and their lovely children, who were staying in the downstairs apartment. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and they made us all feel so welcome. I cannot thank them enough.No-one who stays in Belvedere will ever regret it, and they will take away memories to last for years."

"The property was beautiful and Sveva was a lovely host. We enjoyed the historical tour of the property and wine tasting. The apartment units allowed our large group to have private space, and we gathered together outside by the pool for lounging, swimming, and dining."
